He is currently Academic Director of the CBS Public-Private Platform, an outreach initiative supported by the CBS board for the period He has been full professor since 2010 and from he was professor with special responsibilities.. He received his master s degree in political science (cand.scient.pol.) in 1992 from the University of Copenhagen, and earned his Ph.D. in political science in 1997 from the University of Copenhagen. He has been at CBS since From he was at the Department of Political Science, University of Copenhagen. In , he was at the Institute of Economics, Politics and Public Administration in Aalborg University in Denmark. Carsten Greve s main research areas are public-private partnerships and public management reform from an international perspective, including performance management, contracting, privatization, corporatization, regulatory reform and governance. Carsten Greve has published in international journals such as Public Administration Review, Governance, Public Administration, International Public Management Review and Public Management Review. Carsten Greve s current research focuses on public management and governance reforms and public-private partnerships. Together with professor Graeme Hodge, Monash University, he has published several books on public-private partnerships. He has been an advisor to the Danish Ministry of Finance, the Danish National Audit Office and the Danish Productivity Commission. He is chairman of the CEMS Interfaculty Group on Public Management and Governance, a pan-european research and teaching group. His current research projects include the SUSTAIN project on sustainable national transport planning, (with DTU), financed by the Danish Strategic Research Council with 13,4 mio DKK.. From , he was been the first academic study director of the new flexible executive Master of Public Governance executive education program that Copenhagen Business School is offering together with the University of Copenhagen and University of Aalborg that has 600+ public managers enrolled.. He coorganizes an annual program for Danish public sector top executives that include a week in Washington DC. His teaching responsibility is centered on courses on public management and governance. He currently supervises 2 Ph.D. projects. He is under contract to write a book on PPPs for Edward Elgar (with Graeme Hodge) and one on Nordic public management reforms for PalgraveMacMillan (with Nordic university colleagues). 1
