8 2 Mobile MaxReports (MaxMobile) As the Maxgaming system is updated in real time, one of the key advantages of this product is the timeliness of data. As Gaming and Venue Managers are notoriously time poor and spend a great deal of their time away from their desks, it was seen as a great advantage to be able to view some dashboard type reports from a mobile device; and that can be checked at any time of day anywhere they can receive mobile phone network coverage. The pages following will demonstrate reports that are customised to suit smartphones to allow venue subscribers access to information using a phone. While the website reports on mainly monthly aggregated data the phone browser screen will give more granular data on an Hourly, Daily and Weekly level. If at any point your phone's web browser does not behave as documented in this guide, it is recommended to download Opera for phones - an alternative to generic phone web browsers. Opera is also available via the Opera website: MaxMobile Log In Launch your phone's web browser and type the Maxgaming website address. The website will identify the mobile device and display the mobile interface. The following examples are taken from the Apple iphone device using the Safari Web Browser. The interface may look somewhat different with other browsers. 6

9 In the state option, choose either NSW, QLD or NT (as to where your venue is located). The following screen will appear: Enter your user id and password and touch SUBMIT to sign in. The landing screen looks like this: Grouped Venue Users Group Users only will see the Venues page with the Search facility at the top of the screen. All other users will see the Report menu. Venue-Group users can use the Venues page to select a venue. To search for a venue, enter the venue name in the search field or expand the alpha characters. To select the venue, click on the venue name. After the venue is selected you will be taken to the main reports screen. 7

10 2.1.2 Creating a Desktop Shortcut Different phones with different browsers may have unique requirements for setting desktop shortcuts. Consult your phone user guide for more information. This example is for Safari on the Apple iphone. To set a desktop shortcut with Safari, display the page you wish to add as a shortcut. At the base of the screen touch the Option icon: The Add Bookmark dialog will display. Press ADD TO HOME SCREEN. The Edit bookmark properties screen will display.
