Fri.): 3 February 2016 CRM at this year s CeBIT: State-of-the-art tools for a new era of customer relations Today s customers expect turnkey offerings and personalized services across all communication channels, from smartphone apps and classic web services to their local retail outlet. Companies seeking to improve their business processes and expand their customer relationship management (CRM) activities will need to take a close look at their digital options. Many of the exhibits and events at this year s CeBIT trade show are themed around the captivating and fast-evolving world of digital CRM solutions. The show will feature all the latest CRM products and a range of high-caliber expert presentations on the subject in the Digital Marketing & Experience Arena. There will also be Guided Tours of this year s CRM highlights. Hannover. This is just one of the reasons why providers are working hard to improve the user experience or customer journey across all digital and analog user interfaces, and to expand their offering of digital services. Helping them are three megatrends: social CRM, mobile CRM and CRM in the German cloud. Social networks such as Facebook and Twitter, not to mention photo sharing portals such as Instagram, are enhancing their services to enable their commercial users to better interact with their customers. For instance, mobile CRM solutions enable field staff to easily upload any information from a customer appointment that is stored on their tablet or smartphone to their corporate intranet. And companies that prefer to operate cloudbased CRM systems no longer need to worry about the security of their customers personal information, so long as they work with a cloud provider that bases all its data at ISO-certified data centers in. The likes of Deutsche Telekom, Microsoft and SAP will all be presenting such services at this year s CeBIT in Hannover,. Big-name exhibitors showcase the latest market-proven services Among the CRM heavyweights in Hannover this year will be Salesforce, which has partnered with T-Systems in the No. 078/ FA/AKS/Breu 2/5

3 development of its cloud offering. The Californian company will be staging its Salesforce World Tour as an exclusive partner event at CeBIT Together with its customers and partners, Salesforce will demonstrate how social, mobile, big data and IoT (Internet of Things) technologies can be leveraged to powerful effect to build strong, lasting customer relationships. Among the exhibitors participating at the new Marketing & Sales Solutions showcase in Hall 4 will be CAS Software, Sugar CRM and Zoho. CAS Software has announced that it will be launching the world s first app-based CRM cloud solution for SMEs. The new system is based on the company s proprietary SmartDesign technology. SugarCRM will present a range of different CRM tools that are designed to help employees at all levels of a company to better understand the needs of customers. Zoho s new Zoho CRM Plus software will illustrate the well-known principle that it s a lot easier to retain existing customer than to win new ones. Other innovative players from the CRM software industry who will be exhibiting at CeBIT include ADITO Software, Cobra CRMnetwork and GEDYS IntraWare. Premiere of innovative conference format the Digital Marketing & Experience Arena This year s CeBIT will feature a brand-new conference format dedicated to exploring the impacts of the digital transformation No. 078/ FA/AKS/Breu 3/5

4 on companies marketing, sales and customer service functions. The Digital Marketing & Experience Arena is designed to foster knowledge sharing on the key issues around marketing automation, lead generation and customer experience. The Arena s five-day program kicks off on 14 March, the first day of CeBIT, with a number of highlights, including a keynote on Closed Loop Marketing by Aalen University s Peter Gentsch and a speed presentation by Ralf Korb, Senior Analyst CRM at BARC, who will endeavor to answer the question, CRM - Quo vadis? Apart from lectures on a wide variety of topics, the event will feature numerous expert panels, speed presentations and product presentations covering different aspects of the digitalization of market and sales functions. The conference will be supplemented each day by a Guided Tour of the exhibition stands of up to five providers. For instance, on Monday, 14 March, the moderated tour will take participants around displays of mobile CRM solutions for sales and point of sale. On Wednesday, 16 March, the tour will be themed Next Generation CRM. Companies are increasingly seeing their customer relationship management as a strategic challenge requiring a holistic approach that takes human traits and networks into account. This is part of a new CRM approach called empathic CRM, which will undoubtedly be keenly debated by marketing managers at the upcoming CeBIT.
