6 I don't believe that it would be a stand alone way of practice. I was exposed to it as just a class, and took away the understanding that it is an alternative form of medicine. d Most patients today probably would not benefit from natural medicine as a primary treatment methodology.

There are certainly no specific barriers Consider for example the American Chemical Society (ACS) and the American Heart Association (AHA). I am a member in both not only because of my interest but also because of the range of the associated benefits (training grants, research grants, journal subscription, the opportunity to cross the road for translational purposes etc).

In fact, a medicinal chemist is an artist who indeed applies his/her theoretical knowledge and experimental skills in the different aspects of chemistry to address a biological question.
