11 Join us again on: Sunday, March 1 st, 2015 First Unitarian Church Works by: Paquito D'Rivera Osvaldo Lacerda Thomas Lang Vaughan Williams Featuring: Kristine Rominski, flute David Fitzpatrick, oboe Ryan Leonard, clarinet Austin Way, Bassoon Brooke Nance, horn Jon Erik Schreiber, tenor Ellen Fast, piano These performances are being presented by the Tapestry Series at the First Unitarian Church, a project supported by the Goldsmith Fund. Albert Goldsmith was a member of the First Unitarian Church of Pittsburgh for many decades until his death in He was a teacher of home-bound students for Pittsburgh Public Schools and a dedicated advocate for music and the arts. He was a member of the Sanctuary Choir, featured as a frequent soloist and served on the music committee for many years. Mr. Goldsmith left a very generous bequest to the church stipulating that a portion be used to support music at the church. Some of this money was set aside to support a concert series in his name. We believe that the Concert Series, featuring the I.C.Players is the first effort supported by this fund.
