1 Sikorsky Aircraft Supplier Portal Password Activation Process Revision H 1

2 Sikorsky Supplier Portal Background: The Sikorsky Supplier Portal replaces Sikorsky Aircraft s Supplier Resource Center. The Supplier Portal is a secure web site that requires the input of a valid ID and password in order to access the site. Most of the data previously available on the Supplier Resource Center has been converted to the Supplier Portal. The layout of the site and the format of some of the documents have changed, but the data has not changed. The Supplier Portal is the gateway for accessing all Sikorsky and UTC data a supplier is authorized to view via the web, utilizing a single ID and password. Instructions: The instructions on the following pages take you through the process for activating your Supplier Portal ID. You will be guided through multiple steps to establish your Login Profile (one time set up): Step 1: Request Initial Password Step 2: Change Profile Step 3: Change Temporary Password Step 4: Establish Three Challenge Question Answers Step 5: Login to Supplier Portal ************************************************************************************* If others in your organization require access to the Portal, please provide them with the following Request for Access instructions: Enter Sikorsky web-site at On the left, click on the link Supplier Resource You will see on this page: Supplier Portal Access Request Form (fill out and submit) wait for a return of notification to access the portal - this will take approximately one week **************** After we are notified that CSC has added the supplier information to the security profile, we will issue an to the user *************************************************************** 2

3 Step 1: Request Initial Password 1. Open Internet Explorer browser (other browsers may not work correctly) 2. Enter this URL in the Address: 3. Click Request Initial Password. DO NOT ENTER YOUR USERNAME OR PASSWORD! 3

4 4. Enter your Login ID, which is your address. 5. Click Get Password button. A temporary password will be ed to you. This may take several minutes depending on your service provider. 6. Click Click here to log in button. You will be returned to the login screen 4

5 Step 2: Change Profile 7. Click the Change Profile link. DO NOT TYPE IN YOUR USERNAME or PASSWORD 8. Enter your Username ( address) and temporary password, which was ed to you. TIP: It works best if you copy and paste your temporary password directly from the to prevent input errors. 9. Click the Login button. You will be prompted to change your temporary password to a permanent password. 5

6 Step 3: Change Temporary Password 10. Enter your temporary password in the Old Password box 11. Enter your new password in the New Password and Confirm New Password box (see instructions below for Password Recommendations). 12. Click Change Password button Password Recommendations It is important that you select passwords that are difficult to guess or derive. Avoid using words found in dictionaries, or numbers that can be associated with you, e.g., your birth date, social security number, or employee number, etc., and in general any names or initials that can be associated with you, e.g., yours, your children, parents, etc. When choosing a password, invent a word and throw in special characters for good measure. Examples of special characters are: $, +,!, =, ^, and &. A good password is one that is difficult to guess and easy to remember, for example, H2OPls! (water please!). 6

7 When choosing your password, it must: A. contain a minimum of (6) characters B. contain no more than 2 consecutive repeating characters C. not be the same as your login ID ( ) or contain a lengthy substring of your login ID Otherwise it will be rejected. In addition, you should consider a password that: D. contains at least one upper case letter E. contains at least one lower case letter F. contains a special character G. contains at least one digit The system will prohibit you from using a new password similar to prior Passwords for a pre-determined amount of time. 13. Click the Continue button 7

Example: If you enter a name as: SMITH (using all caps ), then all of your responses will have to be in caps Any date response must be entered as mm/dd/yyyy (month/day/year) Do not enter any data in the SecurID UserID input field. You may wish to print this screen prior to continuing and keep in a safe place 15. Click the OK button. You may have to use the scroll bar to see this. Your User Name will appear here Leave this field blank Choose a question Choose different questions Type in your answer Remember these fields are case sensitive 8

10 Step 5: Login to Supplier Portal 17. Enter your Username ( address) and the new Password you established above. Note: The security padlock located in the lower right hand screen should be locked, which indicates that you are on a secure site ( If you have an open padlock please close your browser and reopen the browser. Type in the following URL (as this is the ONLY address that will take you to the Portal): If you use book marks = book mark this site only 18. Click the Login button NOTE: If you attempt to login and are unsuccessful 3 times, your account will be locked and will remain locked for approximately one hour. After an hour you may try again. If you continue to experience problems with your account, you must have your password reset. Password Reset: You will need to contact the Computer Sciences Corporation help desk for Sikorsky Aircraft. Identify yourself as a Sikorsky Aircraft supplier that requires help with your Siteminder/LDAP2 account. Use the following toll-free number to obtain support: (877)

11 19. Please answer your challenge question. Remember your answer is syntax and case sensitive. 20. Click the Login button You will now have access to the Sikorsky Supplier Portal. If your password becomes locked, you will need to contact Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) for a password reset. Identify yourself as a Sikorsky Aircraft supplier that requires help with your Siteminder/LDAP2 account.
