2 WELCOME TO PEN UNDERWRITING Pen Underwriting is the new name for some of the best known and most respected specialist underwriting businesses in the UK Dallas Kirkland, e-underwriting, Evolution, Ink, IRS, Keelan Westall, OAMPS, Think, Vela, Woodbrook and Zennor and an environmental consultancy, OHES. We are bringing all these businesses together, creating one of the UK s largest specialist underwriters, with over 300m GWP.

With so much experience within each business, the opportunities for us and our brokers are clear. As Pen, I believe we will be able to offer something genuinely different, while also making it easier for brokers to do business with us. We chose the name Pen because it s clear and simple and our approach to doing business will be equally simple: differentiation, expertise and added value. 1
