1 St. Mary s Parish Menomonee Falls Grow and share your time and talent Together we can do something beautiful for God. Mother Teresa said that. And she was right. What s inside I d add to it. Together, we have something beautiful from God our amazing parish. And together we can make it even more wonderful than it already is. The beauty of community is that it is enriched by the participation of every single one of its members. Here at St. Mary Parish, we have a remarkably blessed community. The Lord has shown us all in so many clear ways that He wants to build us up, strengthen us, and multiply His gifts and graces. In the following pages, you ll find an organized list of all of the many opportunities we have to get involved by giving generously of our time and talents to strengthen our parish. You ll be amazed at how much is going on. I d like to challenge you to hear the Lord s call to put your talents to use in building up the Body of Christ. Nothing stretches us and transforms us more than getting out of ourselves to serve, to give, to be like Christ in serving others. Please prayerfully consider this as a time when Jesus is inviting you to something more. Your generosity is multiplied a hundredfold in giving to the parish. Time commitment is dictated by your personal preference. You are the salt of the earth. But if salt loses its taste, with what can it be seasoned? It is no longer good for anything but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. You are the light of the world. A city set on a mountain cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and then put it under a bushel basket; it is set on a lampstand, where it gives light to all in the house. Just so, your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father. Matthew 5: THEOLOGY-ON-TAP Theology-on-Tap is a speaker series for young adults, married and single, in their 20 s and 30 s.
