3 Foreword For Mercedes-Benz Bank, 2014 was a record year in every way. Together with our three European branches, we increased our contract volume to over 20 billion for the first time. As a result, we now have financing and leasing contracts for more than 800,000 vehicles. Another one of last year s highlights was the fact that the independent Great Place to Work Institute ranked Daimler s financial services division including Mercedes-Benz Bank among the world s top 25 employers. In addition, a new era has begun for us: More and more customers are forgoing traditional loans and instead looking for a flexible leasing or rental solution that is adapted to their personal or business situation. We are adjusting to this development and evolving from a traditional financial services provider to a state-of-the-art supplier of mobility services. For example, under our Mercedes-Benz Rent brand our rental business is continuing its rapid growth and strategically bridging the gap between carsharing and traditional leasing. In this way we are offering the right solution for every mobility need, no matter whether it is short-term or long-term. This brochure will provide you with a compact insight into our company. 6 Our range of services Expertise from a single source Mobility from a single source. Regardless of whether it s a car or a truck private and commercial customers increasingly want vehicle and financial services from a single source. Together with our colleagues in Daimler s vehicle units, we develop financial services products geared toward our customers individual mobility needs. Leasing and financing. Use instead of ownership. In response to the growing trend toward leasing, our mobility packages Business-Leasing plus for commercial customers and Privat-Leasing plus for private customers provide financial mobility and insurance cover at a fixed monthly rate. The insurance premium remains unchanged even after an accident. Once the contract expires, a customer can either buy the vehicle at a guaranteed purchasing price or give it back to the dealer. The financing options of the Mercedes- Benz Bank ensure you the same quality, safety and comfort which you have come to know from our vehicles. Product Finder To discover which financial product matches their needs, customers can use our product finder at 6

7 Depending on their requirements and financial flexibility, we offer our customers the appropriate financing model. And with warranty and maintenance packages, we complete the all-round, carefree service. Insurance. Alongside insurance solutions for private and commercial customers, we also offer special industryspecific solutions in order to ensure that all our vehicle customers can enjoy a relaxed drive. Our wide range of products extends from motor insurance and payment protection insurance to vintage car insurance, fleet insurance, and comprehensive dealership insurance. Furthermore, our purchasing price insurance covers the gap between a vehicle s original purchasing price and the cost of a new car as ensured by the full coverage policy. Rental vehicles. Mercedes-Benz Rent allows customers to rent Mercedes-Benz cars from dealerships in Germany. They can rent anything from an S-Class for a wedding to a station wagon or convertible for a weekend trip, a replacement vehicle after an accident or an electric car for a test drive. This mobility service closes the gap between traditional leasing products and the car2go carsharing service. As one of Germany s leading providers of fleet services, Daimler Fleet Management GmbH handles passenger car fleets consisting of various brands. The scope of our services ranges from leasing to comprehensive fleet operation. Our Corporate Carsharing mobility solution ensures that companies can more efficiently and more flexibly assign their pools of fleet vehicles for use by their employees. It thus enables companies to significantly reduce their fleet and mobility costs and substantially streamline processes. The market leader in the commercial vehicle sector, Mercedes-Benz CharterWay GmbH, offers CharterWay service, service-leasing and rental products in a comprehensive fleet management concept that is fully transparent and allows customers to accurately calculate their costs in advance. To make this possible, our dealer financing concept offers customized financing programs, ranging from inventory and real-estate financing to loans for operating materials and business expansion. Investments. When we select and develop our finance products, the top priorities are security, transparency, and reliability. Our customers always benefit from good and fair terms. The deposits at Mercedes-Benz Bank are also protected by a deposit insurance fund and are currently insured to a value of more than 300 million euros per investor. MercedesCard. The new card is available in two different versions: Silver and Gold. The card offers a comprehensive range of services, including a standard-feature rewards program that allows customers to enjoy attractive premiums. The Gold card is our exclusive premium model, which offers customers additional travel protection as well as comprehensive coverage for the vehicles registered in the card-holder s name. In this way, we are giving something back to society and showing that business success and social responsibility are not mutually exclusive. Community Involvement Day of Caring. In 2014 employees teamed up with blind and visually impaired people from Nikolauspflege Stuttgart to renew systems that improve orientation and mobility at this institution. The employees also helped to revive an abandoned playground in the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg neighborhood of Berlin and restore the outdoor area of a youth educational center in Saarbrücken. Inspiring Ideas! The Inspiring Ideas! initiative provides funding for projects that are run by employees who band together to proactively support clubs, social welfare organizations and other non-profit institutions. More than 130 projects have been implemented since

A service center is opened in Saarbrücken Financing business commences.
