We are among the automotive industry s leading captive financial services providers. In commercial vehicles, we are number one. Daimler Financial Services finances and leases more than a third of all Daimler brand vehicles in over 40 countries around the world. The combined value of our contracts is around 60 billion euros. Leasing and financing: The core of our business is leasing and financing for private and business clients. Through a wide range of individual offers and contract options, we provide our customers with the most financial flexibility, allowing them to drive a new vehicle that best fits their needs. Beyond that, our customers receive a comprehensive carefree package, complete with insurance, maintenance, and repair services. All that s left for them to do is drive. Fleet management: In 12 European countries and in South Africa, Israel, Singapore, and Australia, Daimler Financial Services provides vehicle fleet solutions and fleet management across all brands. We are the market leader in Germany, Poland, and South Africa. The mid-sized business relies on us just as much as the international corporation with several thousand vehicles. Our fleet management extends from the purchasing to the remar - keting of the vehicles and to the management of individual service elements such as maintenance and repair, tire service, fuel cards, insurances, taxes, etc. Driver support, fleet controlling, reporting, and consulting complete our range of services. With our comprehensive service, we enable short-term cost savings and long-term fleet efficiency. Insurance: We provide security and reliability. In our insurance services sector, everyone is in good hands: We offer auto insurance with servicerouting and make sure that when something goes wrong, our customers get the assistance they need at one of our specialized service departments. Not only that, we offer insurance solutions for customers with vehicle fleets. Our services include coverage for all production sites and for product liability risks, the safeguard of sea and land transportation, and retirement and pension plans of Daimler employees. Thus it s only natural that we do everything we can to support them as best as possible. We help our dealers fulfill customers wishes through excellent financing and leasing solutions. We support them by financing their vehicle stock, so they can offer customers the largest selection possible. For their financial risks, we provide insurance solutions which protect them from double insurance, coverage gaps, and above all, financial losses in cases of damage or loss of property. We also enable financial success by supporting the expansion or renovation of their dealerships, or by creating new sales locations. And so are our solutions. Every 30 seconds, somewhere in the world, an employee of Daimler Financial Services closes a new financing or leasing contract. We bring more than every third Daimler brand vehicle onto the street. That is how we help to ensure that more people get the opportunity to drive a Daimler vehicle. This is good for our customers, but also for the Group. Because customers who lease or finance a car or truck from us remain loyal to the vehicle s brand much longer.
