4 Self adhesive Sheet MEMBRANES Self adhesive membranes allows installation without the use of heating torches and their associated problems. The uniform thickness eliminates any likelihood of thin application commonly found with liquid applied membranes. Self Adhesive sheet membranes are ideal for the following: Tunnels Foundations Basements Retaining walls Bridge decks Ramps Car parks & road pavements where the membrane will be overlaid with hot asphalt Emer-Proof HDPE Contains a cross laminated HDPE film that ensures excellent dimensional stability while allowing adequate flexibility during installation and service. 5 Torch-on Sheet MEMBRANES INDEX Argo A 3 mm thick, plastomeric, torch-applied membrane, reinforced with polyester and stabilised with fibre glass mat, for single or multi layer systems. INDEX AUTOTENE ASFALTICO (bridge deck membrane) A self-adhesive, heat activated bridge deck membrane in elastoplastomeric polymer bitumen. Used for cold-state waterproofing of bridges and car park surfaces to be paved with hot bitumen or ashphalt. INDEX Rollbase (vent sheet) Polyester fabric backed base sheet, for heat sensitive substrates, in multi-layer torch-on membrane systems. INDEX Testudo 30 (bridge deck membrane) Torch applied 5 mm thick high performance reinforced elastoplastomeric polymer bitumen bridge deck waterproofing membrane. INDEX Testudo plain & MINERAL A maximum performance, 4 mm thickness, torch-on polymer modified bitumen waterproofing sheet membrane with polyester reinforcing to give dimensional stability. Testudo is also available in mineral chip finish for improved UV resistance and visual appeal. INDEX Vapordiffuser (vent sheet) Elastoplastomeric membrane with deep bitumen underside rivets, to allow water vapour to diffuse and provide waterproofing in the base layer in multilayer systems. 6 Pre-applied MEMBRANES Proofex Engage is a unique patented waterproofing membrane for a range of waterproofing applications including basements and substructures. Proofex Engage Pre-applied waterproofing membrane which mechanically bonds to poured concrete. It provides water vapour and gas protection to water excluding structures and protects concrete from aggressive ground salts and chemicals. drainage and protection Without proper protection, the waterproofing in a building can fail, leading to costly and unnecessary repairs. All below ground waterproofing should be protected prior to back-filling to stop the membrane being punctured or damaged. Using a suitable protection/drainage system will not only protect the membrane but also assist the surrounding soil to drain correctly and minimise any water pressure build-up.
