21 Highly Penetrative Bituminous Primer LAMA PRIMER Properties Solvent base cold applied, highly penetrative thin bituminous solution, black in color. Used for priming concrete, masonry, metal, asphalt surfaces, and as a priming coat before applying any LAMA bituminous coating, or modified bitumen membrane. Complies with the requirements of ASTM D 41 Type I. Covers from 2-3 m²/liter dependent upon porosity of surface. Supplied in 20 and 200 liter drums. 22 SEALCOAT Asphalt Roof Coating (Regular and Fast Drying) A solvent-born bituminous compound of brushable consistency, dries to a tough, black coating, which does not flow under summer heat. A general purpose waterproofing and dampproofing coating. Used as a primer where concrete surfaces are porous Provides protection against corrosion. Recommended where the threat of frost or rain precludes the use of an emulsion Complies with the requirements of ASTM D4479 Type II and BS Covers approximately 1.6 m²/liter. 23 Rubberized Bitumen Emulsion, Waterproofer and Adhesive LAMASOL A dark brown cold applied rubberized bitumen emulsion, dries to form a black flexible coating. Used as a water and moisture barrier, an adhesive, a plaster bonding agent and a primer. Provides protection against metal corrosion Provides weatherproofing layer when used over exposed insulation Complies with the requirements of ASTM D 1227, Type III, Class 1 Covers approximately 1.3 m²/liter. 27 Crack Bridging and Protective Coating System For Concrete and Masonry LAMACRYL Waterproofing elastomeric and durable white emulsion. 29 Stone Water Repellent LAMASTONE A transparent liquid. Closes the pores and forms a water repellent layer inside the element and at the surface while permitting the trapped vapor to move out. Used in the construction of built up roofing as bonding or flood coats. 34 OXIDIZED ASPHALT For MASTIC ASPHALT on Roofs Properties Produced by air blowing of petroleum residues. It is mixed in-place with other components like limestone aggregate, cement and hydrated lime to give a waterproofing material, solid or semi-solid under normal weather conditions. Softens gradually when heated to 200 C, so it can be spread easily on the roofs. Used in the construction of built-up roofing as waterproofing and adhesive layer Type I & IV complies with ASTM D 312. 43 LAMAFELT-18 Organic Fiber Base for Damp Proof Course Consists of a sheet of matted organic fibers impregnated with asphalt and coated on both faces with blown bitumen and covered with fine granules. used in built-up roofing and as a vapor barrier under roof insulation Complies with the requirements of BS 747 type 1B. 45 LAMA MESH Fiberglass Net 70 A fiberglass net of excellent site serviceability, specially designed for use as a reinforcement of waterproofing coats for the roofs and foundations, to reinforce marble slabs of vertical walls and surface layers, and reinforcing cold and hot asphalt coats. It doesn t dissolve with the organic solvents in the asphalt and it is a rot and fungi proof. LAMA PAPERFELT Asphalt-Saturated Organic Felt Consists of a sheet of organic fiber saturated with asphalt and covered with fine granules. 49 ASPHALTOPLAST Mineral Rubber A mineral rubber blown bitumen specifically for use by polymer compound. STEELCOAT For protecting iron and steel A hot applied bitumen based coating with inert non-fibrous fillers. It is solid at the normal temperatures, and softens gradually when heated turning into a very viscous liquid at about 130 C. At higher temperatures the viscosity drops, turning the mixture into a thin and easy to apply liquid. Used to provide a protective layer over steel pipes and fittings against corrosion. Complies with requirements of the BS4147: Type A-Grade B. STEELPRIME For protecting iron and steel A primer for cold application over iron and steel, consisting of a homogeneous solution of bitumen in a fast drying solvent.
