8 What s a «TEPOS»? The goal of a «TEPOS» is to reach in 2050 the equality between energy consumption and renewable production The french traduction of 100% RES communities consumption Negawatt approach sobriety efficiency Energy savings 20 renewables renewables Green energy production To aim this goal, the Negawatt approach is based on 3 pillars: Energy sobriety Lower energy needs Ex : transports development and carsharing Energy efficiency Lower energy consumption for a device or product Ex : building thermal insulation Renewables development Ex : PV, solar, hydro, geothermal, windpower

10 Energy global The total final energy consumption of the territory is about 9 Billion kwh a year, with a important drop since 2004 (-17%). Buildings represent 50 % of the total and transports 30% Industry is 21% 1

11 Energy balance by needs The 1rst energetic use of our territory is heat (50% of consumptions). The energy bill of the territory is about 860 millions Heat demand explains 44% of the energy bill 1

13 Renewable heat production The forecast renewable heat development is about 380 GWh to raise 870 GWh of total production : 19% of the actual heat demand (4 550 GWh) 37% of the 2050 s forecast territory heat demand (2 340 GWh) Solar heating(+150 GWh) and wood (+130 GWh) are the most relevant opportunities 13

14 Renewable electricity production The identified potential of renewable electric production is about 315 GWh in order to reach 380 GWh of global production, meaning a cover rate of : 24% of the actual demand of electricity (1 580 GWh) 29% of the forecast electricity demand in 2050 (1 340 GWh) The wastes combustion is the actual first production (41 GWh) and will raise 89 GWh at very short term Photovoltaic on buildings present the biggest potential (238 GWh) 14

20 PERLE Assemblée Project générale du 23 Avril 2014 SAS Centrales Villageoises PERLE 66 kwc (447 m 2 ) shared out on 8 buildings (public and private) of 3 towns (Puygros, La Thuile, Saint Jean d Arvey) Every installation has a power under 9Kwc and architectural intergration on building
