1 Center of Lake County June 17, 2015 Bachelor Completion Degrees Public Universities: Face-to-Face Accounting Electronics Systems Technologies Elementary Education (Grades 1 6 licensure) Human Resource Development Industrial Technology Political Science Psychology Social Work Traditional Fall, Spring, & 4 semester cycles (16 months) on alternate weekends. Each semester includes 3 face-to-face classes and one independent study course (Located at GLNTC) Cohort model; full-time class load run on Monday evenings & Saturdays to allow completion in 4 semesters; Traditional Fall, Spring and Traditional Fall, Spring, & 4 semester cycles (16-24 months) on alternate weekends. Courses offered alternate weekends over 12-month cycle (Located at GLNTC) Funded by a five-year federal Transitioning Paraprofessionals into Teachers of English Learners (TPTEL) grant, this program is open only to bilingual individuals who are currently working as paraprofessionals and will commit to working in high need school districts after obtaining their teacher certification. Three cohorts will be admitted for a total of 50 students. Public Universities: Blended (at least 50% of course content delivered face-to-face) Fire Service 4 semester cycles (16 months) Lindsay Laycoax on alternate weekends. 3 & Spring semesters; 4- and 8-wk ; and courses meeting for 3 weekends; EIU teaches 12 semester hours faceto-face each term; add l online courses can accelerate progress Health Care Hospitality & Tourism Organizational & Professional Development Secondary teaching licensure (English, Social Studies, Math, Science) Eastern Illinois 4 semester cycles (16 months) on alternate weekends. Each semester includes 3 face-to-face classes and one online course (Located at GLNTC) Recruiting for first cohort (to begin in Spring of 2016). Courses will run on a semester cycle and the term will include both Grayslake classes and online classes. Summer session will be solely online on an 8- week calendar.
