Backup client service is not removed from services after uninstall. Quota and server usage values matchup in logs and other log discrepancies. Don't show files skipped on summary logs during an Incremental/Differential backup. Running a differential backup with files with a "%" symbol under the filename(s) fails. Delete function fails on specific folder/file paths on the client. Unable to start nsservice due to one problem in CD/DVD library on vsphere 4.1. Clicking on the back button on the "Ready to install NovaBACKUP Storage Server" dialog during an upgrade will incorrectly display the "Backup Server Administrator account" dialog since an Administrator account already exists. Upgrade fails when trying to upgrade backup server to when using MySQL on Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise (x64) SP2. Backup Server fails to install on MySQL. "Invalid Server installation; please reinstall the server." appears when upgrading backup server to using MySQL with only the administrator account in the db with a bad UserDataDir path. Error: <97> Error attempting to determine disk usage space on backup server. If you backup to an xsp server and have no changed files. NovaBACKUP Commerce Server: My Account Subscriptions tab: packages are not showing when adding additional storages, unless is set to "advance filter" New password request through the CS GUI if current password is lost. Several strings are still in English language instead of German in the Commerce Server. The default for the currency should be configurable (USD or Euro). Client/Server demo period can be reset during re-installation. Ability to automatically predefine the desired xsp name. NovaBACKUP Remote Manager: IIS Error : The requested page cannot be accessed because the related configuration data for the page is invalid. Remote Manager setup must require "Windows Features > Role Services > Web Server > Application Development > ASP.NET" to be installed. Remote Manager fails to insert users with the latest backup server database schema changes: "Invalid column name 'ContactId'." Remote Manager GUI is not compatible with the backup server. Going to the properties of a user in the Remote Manager does not populate the correct group that the user is in. MigrateDatabase.exe has stopped working error while trying to install v12 of Remote Manager. Roll back action when installing the Remote Manager Server Error in '/RemoteManager' Application when trying to login to RemoteManager webpage. Can't add or edit settings for Account Creation Settings. Percentages in the 'installer' installs are giving way off numbers such as negative numbers or very large numbers on all installers. Can't login to Remote Manager admin page for Servers using MySQL. 404 error after logging into Remote Manager. Remove extra fields from backup server configuration in the remote manager. Remote Manager does not add/update/delete server information in application cache when user adds/updates/delete server information. Cannot change server address, backup server group name, and user group name because they are "key" columns. CreateAccount using ManagementService.CreateAccount throws exception. Backup Server Remote Management: There is no explicit mapping for the categories 'General'.

7 Known Issues: The status page progress bar can sometimes not fill completely up when completed if backing up or restoring plug-ins and other files. When backing up from a vsphere server VM's contained in a Vapp container will not be able to be selected. In certain instances right clicking on the traycontrol icon will make the icon disappear and open NovaBACKUP instead of the expected menu appearing. The NovaBACKUP Commerce Server 'Reports' action is currently unavailable in this version of the software. Upgrades of the NovaBACKUP Storage Server have the possibility of deleting masterlogs and user logs, please backup these before upgrading. Upgrades of the NovaBACKUP Storage Server has the possibility of not putting correct constraints into the database, please backup the database before upgrading. Installation of the NovaBACKUP Storage Server requires.net 3.5, Window 2008 requires you to install this through the Role Management Tool. Amazon S3 has a single file size limit of 5GB. Restoring of ACLs on folders is not supported from xsp devices. Spanning of Tapes and CD/DVD/BD media is not supported from a scheduled backup. This is being done to make Windows recognize the newly written media. Please be aware of this condition and do not disturb or interfere with the media/drive during the eject as the tray may close immediately. Due to the nature of DVD-R, burning to this type of media often takes a long time to complete and may show a status of "Closing Session" for quite some time. This is normal. For this release, there must be a minimum amount of disk space available of 1.5 GB or more. Please remember that DVD media refers to a gigabyte of data as a pure 1 billion bytes, not the actual value which is 1,073,741,824 bytes. Therefore, the maximum amount of data that will fit on most current DVD media is about 4.4Gb. For Blu-Ray this number is roughly 25 GB, and for Dual Layer it is about 50 GB. Integral backup file splitting is automatically done by NovaBACKUP, therefore, no issues should be encountered regarding any file size limitations based on file system type.

8 Backups which span more than one piece of media will require the entire set of media to be available during restore. This may change in future revisions to only require the necessary media for the files being restored. It is recommended that you turn off Auto-insert notification for CD-R/W and DVD devices when performing backups. With "Auto-insert" notification enabled while other software is writing, the operating system continuously tries to read the contents of the disc being recorded to determine the appropriate action to take.
