1 RESUME Pierre Breau, P. Eng. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE August 2011 current General Manager and Chief Administrative Officer, Beaver Regional Waste Management Services Commission (operating as Beaver Municipal Solutions), Ryley AB (Beaver County 1 hour east of Edmonton AB) Responsible for the leadership and senior management of the Waste Commission. The Commission (referred to as BMS) is a regional services commission responsible to the Government of Alberta. Over 97% of its revenue comes from waste management contracts outside of Beaver County. In 2014, BMS handled over 1 million metric tonnes of municipal solid waste and hydrocarbon-contaminated soils and sludges, in one of the largest landfill land holdings of its type in North America, mostly generated from the Edmonton, Alberta Capital Region. The current line of business is over $27 million of revenue annually, and an EBITDA of $17 million, with a current five year capital program of over $40 million. The Commission has over 85 employees. In 2014, BMS returned $3.3 million in dividends to its municipal shareholders, eliminated its debt and fully funded its landfill closure liability. April 2010 March 2011 Construction Manager, Atlantic Canada, Simplex Grinnell, a division of Tyco International of Canada, Ltd., Dartmouth NS Responsible for all fire protection sprinkler, suppression and alarm and security projects for the company throughout Atlantic Canada. This position was a senior management role with full profit and loss responsibility for the company (April) Director of Engineering and Public Works, Municipality of the District of Lunenburg, Bridgewater, Nova Scotia Responsible for all public works infrastructure for a regional municipality of 27,000 on the south shore of Nova Scotia, plus a solid

(Lunenburg Regional Community Recycling Centre) Supervised staffing level was over 50 full-time equivalents. Direct operations expenses were in the $7 million per year range. Recent 5 year capital program was budgeted at over $46 million Responsible for all public works infrastructure for a university town of 6,000 in southern New Brunswick, including supervision of over 20 FTE staff Property Manager, The Hardman Group Limited, Moncton, New Brunswick and Halifax, Nova Scotia Managed approximately 400,000 square feet of multi-use commercial real estate in Saint John and Moncton, New Brunswick for Halifaxbased property developer and manager, The Hardman Group Limited Canadian National Railways Co.
