2 1. Top Tips Sportsworld recommend that you do NOT plan to attend an event on your day of arrival. You will need to collect your tickets when you get to Rio, so you need to allow time for this. Sportsworld suggest that you do not plan to collect your tickets on the same day you are attending an event outside of Rio. Do leave yourself plenty of time for travelling to and from the venues. Allow time for security queues when entering and exiting the venues. Rio 2016 recommends that you attempt to attend only one event per day. This can be stretched to two events per day, provided that both are in Rio in the same area (Barra, Deodoro, Copacabana & Maracana) and you leave sufficient time between the two sessions (e.g. one morning and one evening event). If you are a relative/partner of a competitor we advise that you purchase tickets through our Online Ticket System or contact our Olympic team at [email protected] 2. How do I purchase tickets for Olympic events? To purchase tickets please follow this link to the Sportsworld Ticket Request System. Here you will be able to place a ticket request. The request process is simple and is explained at every step. At the end of placing your ticket request you will be brought to a payment page here you will have to pay for your ticket request. Unpaid ticket request will not be allocated tickets. If Sportsworld are unable to fulfill your ticket request Sportsworld will change the status of your ticket request to WL which means wait listed. Waitlisted tickets will be applied for from Rio 2016 Organising Committee by Sportsworld. If Sportsworld are unable to obtain tickets from the application to the Rio 2016 Organising Committee Sportsworld will issue a full refund for the session. The account holder can request to cancel their ticket request by ing Sportsworld at [email protected]. After the completion of each allocation Sportsworld will send an to all ticket account holders to inform of activity within your account. If you place a ticket request for a session that we believe we will not be able to obtain ticket too after a series of ticket allocations from Rio 2016 Organising Committee Sportsworld will make your ticket request U this means your request has been made unsuccessful and a refund will be issued to you. Refunds can take 14 days to be completed.

3 If you have purchased Rio 2016 Olympic Games tickets from us already or previously you made an unsuccessful request, you will already have a Sportsworld ticket account. To make further requests please use the Log In button situated in the top left hand corner of the page. You will require the address registered to your account and the password you provided. Events at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games are spread all over Brazil. Outside Rio, venues are located in Belo Horizonte, Brasilia, Manaus, Salvador and Sao Paulo. The venue location is stated for each sport on the Online Ticket System. Remember that tickets for all events must be collected in Rio, including tickets for events outside Rio. 5. How much will tickets cost? For each event session there are up to five price categories. These are A, B, C and D. The category reflects the quality of the seating locations as set by Rio 2016, with A the most expensive and categorized by Rio 2016 as the best seats, with D the cheapest seating location. The position of the seats within the relevant venue should be reflected by the price category. Where a session has only one price category, this will be the A category of seating. A handling charge for each ticket is charged on top of the face value of the ticket. The handling charge levels are controlled by Rio 2016 at 20% of the price of the ticket for any ticket priced USD$255 or less. A flat charge of USD$51.02 is charged on all tickets whose value is greater than $ Why are tickets charged in USD? All tickets have been purchased by Sportsworld from the Organising Committee in USD at the agreed exchange rate of 2.35BRL. Sportsworld will only accept payment in USD for tickets; if any refunds are required all refunds will be performed in USD.

4 7. How do I pay for my tickets? Payments can be made by any of the following: Visa, Solo, Electron, MasterCard and Maestro. Full payment for all tickets must be made at the time of purchase. After selecting the tickets that you would like to request you will be directed to a Sportsworld payment page. Your purchase will only be confirmed by once full payment has been made and authorised. 8. What happens if my payment fails? When making a purchase, you will have one opportunity to process the debit or credit card payment. Should this fail you will be required to start the process again and the tickets may no longer be available. Ticket stocks are managed frequently some sessions maybe closed off from customers as the waitlist maybe oversubscribed. Therefore we strongly recommend that you ensure that your daily transaction allowance is to a suitable value of the tickets you wish to purchase. 9. How do I find out about the latest ticket availability? Please also be aware that the stock levels may alter from the number shown on your screen at the time that you requested to add tickets to your basket. This may occur due to another customer selecting tickets from the same session moments before you decreasing the level of availability. Please be aware until you have the tickets held within your Ticket Basket they will remain available for request and be available for others to purchase. 10. How are tickets allocated? Tickets are allocated on a first come first served basis. 11. How does Sportsworld receive their allocation? Sportsworld have secured an allocation of tickets from Rio 2016 on behalf of each of the NOC s that Sportsworld represent. In order to obtain these tickets Sportsworld submitted a request to Rio 2016 in January 2015 which formed the basis of our initial allocation for each NOC. 12. If I am a relative/partner of a competitor do I receive any ticket priority? Sportsworld always look to provide priority to relatives / partners of those athletes who represent our partner NOC s. However, Sportsworld are only able to extend this priority for the session(s) in which your family member is due to compete. 5 13. How do I purchase tickets for team sports? For team sports (Basketball, Football, Handball, Hockey, and Volleyball) the draws will be made at a very late stage. By this point in time we expect there to be limited ticket availability. To maximise the likelihood of obtaining tickets, Sportsworld recommend that you purchase tickets before the draws take place. Unfortunately, if you purchase a ticket and your team does not participate in that session, Sportsworld are unable to provide you with a refund or a ticket to the session that your team is competing in. 14. Spectators with disabilities at the Games Most Olympic venues have been reviewed for accessibility including consideration for persons with, but not limited to, vision impairment, blindness, hearing loss, deafness as well as mobility and/or agility impairments. If you have a disability and require accessible seating in venues, then please contact us at [email protected] to inform us of your requirements. Sportsworld will advise you of the best way to proceed with a request once you have contacted us. Sportsworld do not receive an allocation of these tickets and so will need to make a specific request to Rio 2016 in order to best meet your requirements, subject to availability from Rio Can children attend events? Yes, however children of all ages will require an event ticket. In accordance with Rio 2016 regulations, every person entering the venue(s) requires a ticket. 16. What happens when I have purchased my tickets? When you have successfully completed your ticket purchase, you will receive an from SecPay our online payment system, confirming your transaction. Your tickets will then be assigned to your Sportsworld account at a later date. You will receive an from Sportsworld advising you to log in to your account to review the new status of your ticket request(s).

6 17. How will I receive my tickets? Tour Clients Tour package clients will be given their tickets by our representative on arrival at their hotel. Ticket Only clients All other clients not taking a tour package will need to collect their tickets from our ticket centre in Rio during Games time. We will contact you in late June or early July 2016 providing further information on ticket collection. The Ticket Collection Centre will be open from Monday August 1 st 2016 through to Sunday August 21 st Please be aware that tickets for ALL events purchased through Sportsworld must be collected from the Ticket Collection Centre, including tickets for all venues outside of Rio. Please plan for sufficient time to collect your tickets. PLEASE NOTE: Photo identification will be required at collection. Tickets cannot be sent prior to the Games. We are not able to insure the transportation of tickets and cannot supply duplicate tickets should any be lost. 18. How do I know where I will be sitting? We are unable to give any indications of seat assignments or other stadium information until tickets are collected. While we will note any preferences you may have, we are unable to guarantee requests for specific seating or standing locations within the venues. We cannot guarantee to seat groups together; although we will do everything we can to accommodate these requests. At some venues, or within some seating categories, tickets are issued on a general admission basis i.e. a ticket is required for entry but there is no reserved seating. Valid from 25/05/2015
