1 AATC ROOF WORK INSTRUCTIONS COMPLETE THE UTILITY NOTIFICATION FOR RECEIVE APPROVAL FROM AATC FOR PRE WORK PHOTOS ROOF SCANS EQUIPMENT TAPE OFF ROOF WORK ROOF CORING/PENETRATIONS REPAIR OF MEMBRANE PRE WORK MEETING WITH MOPAC (include all subcontractors) COMPLETE ROOF APPLICATION & RETURN TO MOPAC PROVIDE AATC ENGINEERING WITH SUBMITTALS (see next page) RECEIVE APPROVAL FROM AATC (5-10 days) SCHEDULE ROOF WORK WITH SUBCONTRACTORS NEXT REPLACEMENT OF MEMBRANE SERVICE OF INSTALLATION OF ABANDONMENT OF INSTALLATION POST WORK PHOTOS

2 ROOF WORK SUBMITTALS Pre-work photos (must be of taped off areas) Roof scan results (if applicable) Equipment product sheets (equipment to be installed on the roof) Detailed redline roof drawing (must show location of new equipment to be installed and the removal of old equipment (if applicable)) Roof detail (showing how equipment will be attached to the roof) Roof authorization form (must be filled out by your roofing contractor for Firestone roofs only) Lightning Protection Company Report (must state whether this service is required) RULES ON THE ROOF All roof work/working on the roof must be coordinated and approved by AATC. All abandoned equipment must be removed and curbs capped. All equipment must be on roof curbs. Wood blocking is unacceptable for roof work. An authorized roofing company must be utilized for any proposed roof work. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required for all edge work. Protect your area of work with boards or drop clothes. Do not put any tools or sharp objects directly on the roof. Use walk pads when walking on the roof. Step over all expansion joints or use ramps when walking on the roof. Use ramps to roll any equipment over expansion joints. Do not leave materials and/or debris on the roof. Do not store materials in the roof mounted units or the stairwells. Do not smoke on the roof. Report any problems on the roof to the AATC Communications Center. Clean PVC and TPO roofs with the following products only: (1) Simple Green (2) 409
