Persons with documented ability to benefit may be admitted to some certificate programs of study (contact the Admissions Office for details). No tests are required for admission; however, all entering students should have results of all tests including the ACT or SAT forwarded to the college. Tuition and fees are $254 per credit hour for out-of-state students ($226/credit hour tuition, $9/credit hour facility fee, $9/credit hour technology fee, $1/credit hour bond reserve fee, & $9/credit hour building fee). Spring Semester payment of tuition and fees can be made ONLINE or ON ALL CAMPUSES during regular Business Office hours beginning November 14, The first day to apply charges to financial aid is December 29, Studentsmustpaytuitionandfeesbefore5:00p.m. January5,2015orclasseswillbedeletedfornon-payment. Students who register on or after January 6, 2015 must pay tuition and fees at time of registration. Students can pay tuition & fees in the business office with financial assistance, cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. Low tuition rate and various financial assistance programs are available (see college catalog online at The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is available online at Students planning to enroll for the spring 2015 semester are encouraged to apply for financial aid at the earliest possible date. to receive a pell grant For the Spring 2015 SemeSter The FAFSA must be received by the Financial Aid Office from the Department of Education by november 1, 2014 and must be processed in the Financial Aid Office at LBWCC no later than november15,2014. If a student has completed the FAFSA Application and is selected for verification, all required documents must be received in the Financial Aid Office and corrections made, if necessary, by november15,2014.the FAFSA must be received in the Financial Aid Office at LBWCC by the priority dates listed. Applications processed after the priority date may result in a delay in receiving financial aid. tuitionandfeesmustbepaidbeforethefirstday of class. Charges for tuition and fees may be applied online to financial aid beginning december 29, 2014 If no financial aid is available, students are responsible for paying the tuition and fees before attending any class. Attendance will be verified by the class instructors for all students. A non-attending student will be administratively dropped from the class which he/she is not attending. If student is reported for non-attendance in all classes for which the student is registered, all classes will be completely dropped. StatereFundpoliCyForpartialWithdraWal Students who do not completely withdraw from the college but drop a class during the regular drop/add period will be refunded the difference in tuition paid and the tuition rate applicable to the reduced number of hours, including fees appropriate to the classes dropped. thereisnorefundduetoastudentwhopartiallywithdrawsaftertheofficialdrop/addperiod(1/9/15). The student may drop or add a class during the Drop/Add period only. The total number of credit hours of enrollment after the schedule change may result in a refund of tuition (drop) or an additional charge (add). StatereFundpoliCyForCompleteWithdraWal In accordance with State Board Policy, a student who officially or unofficially withdraws from all classes before the first day of class will be refunded the total tuition and other institutional charges. The first day of class is the first day classes are offered within any term configuration, including, but not limited to, full terms, split terms, mini-terms, and weekend terms. The return of TITLE IV funds is based on a formula, which determines the percentage of earned aid by calculating the amount of time the student has completed for a term. The percentage completed is calculated as days attended in the period (based on the official withdrawal date) divided by the total days in the term. If the percentage completed exceeds 60%, the student has earned 100% of his/her TITLE IV financial aid. duringthespringsemester, astudentwillhaveearned100%ofhis/hertitleivfinancialaidonmarch13,2015. If the percentage completed is 60% or less, this percentage is applied to the total TITLE IV financial aid awarded to the student for the term and could result in the student having to repay TITLE IV funds.
