9 App Management Overview Mobile App Management is a new feature that has been made available in the 3.2 release of Connections Mobile Native Clients & CR2 update for Connections and higher. It allows the various connections services to be customizable and adds support for extensibility, re-branding, custom login form among other things. App Mgmt is supported on all the Connection's native apps ie., Android, IOS & BlackBerry. The customizations/extensions are defined in a config file called mobile-config.xml under <cell-name>\lotusconnections-config similar to what is done for the other connections desktop services. 9

10 Key Security Features App Data Control Security Control for the Files Service provided through the following customizations: ShareWithPublic AllowDownloads AllowUploads AllowExport AllowExportToDeviceGallery Password Retention Policy can be defined for storing / not storing password on device using the RememberPassword setting. 12 Security Mgmt Overview Security Mgmt is available in the IC4 CR1 update on the server and the latest mobile app updates on the respective app stores Security Mgmt secures the app data by providing the ability to provision configuration profiles containing password policy, etc. and do a remote secure data erase of application-specific data Security management is disabled by default and is enabled through an app mgmt setting called MobileAdmin in the mobileconfig.xml file 12
