The Company is engaged in an intensive skill growth and development strategy to ramp up its RFID offerings with all partners and convert its substantial resource bases to quantified sustainable RFID applications. We maintain a strong partner relationship with all RFID manufacturers globally. This alliance affords us the opportunity to custom design tags, readers and applications for our clients. RFID SYSTEMS We have developed and deployed the following RFID systems: RFID Asset Security System This system uses UHF RFID Technology to track and manage company assets. Each asset is tagged with a UHF microchip and each entry exit point is fitted with fixed RFID readers. Users are issued UHF RFID cards which are then linked to assets in a parent / child relationship. If an asset is seen leaving the building without the user card present the system will alarm and alert security to check on what asset is leaving and why the user s card is not present. 3 o Host Software for alerts and asset management o Parent / Child linking with users and assets o 2-10 meter read range o Reads up to 275 tags per second o User tag reads delivers a pop up image on the client machine for security to verify the staff member ID o Able to run multiple instances of each client application for multiple readers and entry exit points RFID Garment & Linen Management System This system uses UHF RFID Technology to track and manage surgical gowns, garments and linen. Each asset is created in the system using the admin panel whereby the user can enter individual asset details. Once uploaded to the database the asset is now being managed live. We have created a GateWay system so that assets can be scanned in and out of the business environment. Assets that are offsite can be scanned using a handheld reader when collected and then the results uploaded to the host system when returned to the business. 4 o o GateWay Reads up to 275 tags per second and the handheld reads tags per second System reporting RFID SmartCabinet This system uses UHF RFID Technology to track and manage assets housed in the SmartCabinet. Each asset is tagged and then created in the system. We are able to manage various types of assets within the same cabinet. Users are issued RFID cards for access to the cabinet. The SmartCabinet by default scans its contents continuously and verifies against its asset list. Once a user presents his ID card, the system verifies his credentials and then allows access to the cabinet. This is managed by a magnetic lock on the cabinet which is linked to the system. The user opens the door and removes whatever assets they require. Once the door is closed the system arms again, scans its cabinet contents and the assets that are missing are assigned to the user that accessed the cabinet. This now provides a level of accountability on each user. There is a manual system over ride button on the host application software. 5 o This application is run as a standalone system but can be linked to a host database for offsite data retention RFID SmartRoom This system uses UHF RFID Technology to track and manage assets housed in the SmartRoom. 6 o This application is run as a standalone system but can be linked to a host database for offsite data retention RFID Vehicle Management System This system was developed to manage vehicles in and out of a controlled business environment. Each vehicle is tagged and created in the database. When the vehicle leaves the environment the exit reader records its movement with date and time stamp in the database. When the vehicle returns, the return reader records its movement with date and time stamp in the database. It is possible to link these readers to a pulse stretcher, boom gate or other access control device. 7 RFID Animal Management System This system uses UHF RFID Technology to track and manage animals within the agricultural environment. Each animal is tagged with an RFID ear tag and the created in the system database. When the animals leave the pen in the morning, they are counted out of the system. When they return in the evening, they are counted back into the system. Should any animals be missing, the farmer is alerted by either or SMS. The alert contains the exact amount of animals missing so that the farmer can action the recovery. We have also developed mobile solar powered scanning units which connect to the main system by means of a point to pint wireless network with a maximum range of 10km. 8 RFID Rental Management System This system uses UHF RFID Technology to track and manage rental equipment that is booked in and out to clients and events. Each asset is tagged and created in the system database for management. The over counter client system allows the user to scan the ID tag and book out the equipment to a walk in customer. The event system allows users to book out multiple assets to an event. Once the event is complete the user must scan all the assets being returned from the event (onsite using a mobile handheld reader). The handheld reader will check the bill of materials for the assets booked out to the event and then verify against the collected assets. If any assets are missing from the collection, the user will be alerted immediately to then locate the assets before leaving site. 9 RFID Production Management System This system uses UHF RFID Technology to track and manage pallets and product with the production environment. Each asset and pallet is tagged and created in the system database for management. Pallets are paired with their product in a parent / child relationship from their point of origin. Fixed reading Gateways are then setup throughout the production environment for tracking and movement recording. Assets can then be scanned into dispatch and parked for delivery. Once ready for delivery the work order number is opened on the dispatch client machine which then verifies all assets leaving the dispatch to verify the correct packing order. If any assets are missing, the system will raise an audible alert event for the dispatch manager to attend to before the delivery leaves. Security control can also be equipped with an optional fixed reading GateWay for additional dispatch verification.
