1 Year: Name of Activity: Marshalltown Community College Foundation Scholarship Program Marshalltown Broadcasting, Inc. KFJB-AM and KXIA-FM has participated in the MCC Foundation Scholarship program for the past ten (10) years, since In January 2015, we made a commitment to provide two (2) scholarships for the academic year. Marshalltown Broadcasting is privileged to continue support of the MCC Foundation Scholarship program. Enclosure: MCC Foundation Letter dtd 1/08/15

2 Year: Name of Activity: KIX Internship Program In May of 2015 KXIA utilized Marshalltown Community College to recruit two broadcasting students for our summer internship program beginning in May and ending August 31, Josh Benda and Reggie Prather who both attended Marshalltown Community College for Journalism were recommended to us by Steve Muntz the Journalism Professor at MCC. Both Josh and Reggie assisted KXIA and KFJB with remote broadcasts as well as setting up, tearing down, and testing equipment with a full-time on-air personality and account manager. Josh and Reggie also set up and operated our KXIA booth at the Iowa Speedway and the Iowa State Fair. We will continue our relationship with Marshalltown Community College for our future intern candidates. Enclosure:

3 Year: 2015 Name of Activity: Iowa Career Expo Staff Attending: Clark Wideman, General Manager KFJB-AM & KXIA-FM 1/15/15 This event, the 10 th annual, was well-attended by employers and job seekers as well. Eighty-nine (89) vendors wer present representing a wide range of employment opportunities, including: Accounting, Banking, Education, Engineering, Healthcare, Insurance, Retail, Social Services, and many more. There were four sorkshops beginning at 9:00am, 10:00am, 11:30am, and 1:00pm. This is a Mast Head job fair for Marshalltown Broadcasting, Inc. Enclosure: 2015 Iowa Career Expo dtd 1/15/15

4 Year: 2014 Name of Activity: ISU Greenlee Internship Fair Staff Attending: Clark Wideman, KFJB/KXIA General Manager Kyle Martin, KFJB-AM Program Director 10/29/14 This was the first time to attend the Greenlee Jump Start Internship Fair. The event was well attended by students interested in a variety of career paths including: Sales, Advertising, News, Public Relations, as well as our Intern Program at Marshalltown Broadcasting, ie. KFJB-AM and KXIA-FM. A majority of the students we visited with were due to graduate in Spring 2016 Enclosure: Registration dtd 8/28/14

5 Year: 2015 Name of Activity: Drake University Career Fair 2/12/15 Staff Attending: Clark Wideman, KFJB/KXIA General Manager Kyle Martin, KFJB-AM Program Director Drake is an annual stop in our Career Fair participation. This fair is well attended by well dressed students. We visited with thirteen (13) Drake students and received three (3) resumes two (2) for internships and one (1) for Sales. 6 Year: 2015 Name of Activity: Central Iowa Job Fair 4/01/15 Staff Attending: Todd Steinkamp, KXIA-FM Program Director Mark Shaffer, KFJB/KXIA Assistant Sales Manager Our strong relationship with Iowa Valley Community College continues as a co-sponsor of this event this is our 12 th year saw 29 employers present including our radio stations KFJB-AM and KXIA-FM. This three-hour job fair, held April 1, 2015, was well attended by students and faculty. Enclosure: Registration letter dtd 3/23/15

7 Year: 2015 Name of Activity: Wartburg College Career Fair 2/24/15 Staff Attending: Clark Wideman, General Manager Kyle Martin, KFJB-AM Program Director 2015 was the first time we attended the Wartburg College Career Fair on February 15, We visited with may students and received seven (7) resumes 2 for Sales, 3 for News, 1 for Marketing and 1 for Sports Writing. 8 Year: 2014 OUTREACH ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION FORM Name of Activity: Marshalltown Community College Broadcasting Advisory Committee Over the past several years Marshalltown Broadcasting stations, KFJB-AM and KXIA-FM, have been active members of the MCC Broadcasting Advisory Committee. Since 2005 MBI has provided staff members as instructors for the Broadcast curriculum at MCC as follows: , : Lance Renaud, News/Sports Director , , : Todd Steinkamp, KXIA Program Director , , , , Kyle Martin, KFJB Program Director Advisory participation has included these senior members of the MBI management team, including the general manager.
