Food temperature measuring devices shall be provided and readily accessible for use in ensuring attainment and maintenance of food temperature relating to food. A food temperature measuring device with a suitable small-diameter probe that is designed to measure the temperature of thin masses shall be provided and readily accessible to accurately measure the temperature of thin foods, such as meat patties or fish fillets. A stem thermometer is not provided. 3/23/2010 Sanitizer strips are not provided. Equipment components such as doors, seals, hinges, fasteners and kick plates shall be kept intact, tight and adjusted in accordance with manufacturer's specifications. Cutting or piercing parts of can openers shall be kept sharp to minimize the creation of metal fragments that can contaminate food when the container is opened. Observed broken garbage grinders located in kitchen area. Lights in walk in coolers are not shielded from breakage Lighting: intensity. ( page 135 ). Observed an out light bulb in walk-in cooler. COS! /8/ /4/2013 Toilet rooms: located for convenience. Toilet rooms in a food facility shall be conveniently located and accessible to employees during all hours of operation. Observed employees having to travel to use toilet room facility.
