The Bid Receipt Date is September 30, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. The Bid Opening Date is October 1, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. Changes to the Drawings 2. Sheet A1, Notes, below the note titled Metal Deck Inspection and Rehabilitation, add the following as a separate note: PAINT SCHEDULE AND MATERIALS: PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING PAINT, OR APPROVED EQUAL: Steel & Duct Work Primer Coat (1): Sherwin Williams; Coat Kem Kromik Universal Metal Primer Finish Coats (2): Sherwin Williams; Industrial Enamel Masonry Primer Coat (1): Sherwin Williams; Heavy Duty Block Filler Finish Coats (2): Sherwin Williams; Industrial Enamel ( mils) ( mils) ( mils) ( mils) ALL PAINT WORK AND PRODUCTS ARE TO CONFORM TO MPI STANDARDS AND MANUFACTURER S STORAGE AND APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS. 2 EXTEND WALL FLASHING PAST EDGE OF SCREEN WALL, SEAL GAP BETWEEN FLASHING & STEEL WITH BACKER ROD AND CONT SEALANT Replace with the following text: PROVIDE NEW COUNTER FLASHING AT BASE OF WALL AT SAME LEVEL AS EXISTING PER DETAIL 3/A3. PAINT ALL EXPOSED CMU. AT WIRING, DETACH AND PAINT BEHIND, REATTACH. PAINT AROUND ANTENNA MOUNT. Add the following text as a note: PAINT ALL EXPOSED STEEL AT SCREEN WALL. 5. Sheet A3, Drawings A & B Replace the text MINIMUM OF 1-1/2 with MINIMUM OF 2. Clarifications and Notes 6. Rework of roof top duct work: The RTU s are to be disconnected and removed to allow for the installation of new supporting curb and related roofing underneath. The RTU S are then to be set on the new curb. The location of the RTU s is not to change. The duct box enclosure of the supply/return duct penetrations of the roof is to remain. Repair as necessary due to the work and paint the enclosure. The connecting duct work between the RTU s and the duct box is to be demolished. The curb and related coverings below are to be demolished and the area covered with roofing (insulation and membrane). Where this curb is connect to the curb under the duct box, it is to be repaired as necessary to allow the flashing to be installed per detail 5/A2. The final configuration of the curbs is one for the RTU and one for the duct box. Any opening in the roof decking at the location of demolished curbing is to be closed with matching decking. Upon resetting of the RTU s, new connection ductwork is to be fabricated and installed to the same size and configuration of the original adjusted to accommodate the higher sitting RTU s. 7. RTU Downtime and Temporary Heating: The work is to be coordinated to minimize the downtime of the RTU s. During the down time, the contractor will provide temporary heating to the Fire Station as necessary to maintain comfortable temperatures in the occupied spaces of the building. 8. Existing Roofing Demolition: RCS has inspected the roof and found a BUR located underneath the top membrane roofing. This roofing is to be removed in its entirety. The report is attached for reference. 9. Asbestos: The Contractor is responsible for removing all asbestos and hazardous materials within the scope of work. The Asbestos Survey Report dated November 17, 2006 is attached for reference. Vendor must take due notice and be governed accordingly. This addendum must be acknowledged as indicated in the Bid Book or your bid may not be considered.
