Baptiste completed his 34 year military career as the Deputy Chairman, NATO Military Committee, Brussels, Belgium. The NATO Military Committee is the highest military authority in NATO and provides direction and advice on military policy and strategy to the North Atlantic Council, guidance to the NATO strategic commanders, and support to the development of strategic concepts for the Alliance. Additionally during his final seven years on active duty, he served at three different levels within the NATO Alliance: first as the Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations, HQ AIRSOUTH, Naples, Italy; next as the Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations, Supreme HQ Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE), Mons, Belgium; and finally as the Deputy Chairman, NATO Military Committee, HQ NATO, Brussels, Belgium. A Command Pilot, Lt Gen (Ret) Baptiste accumulated nearly 3,000 flight hours in a variety of fighter and trainer aircraft. He retired from active duty on June 1, 2007 and has been the President/Executive Director of the National Center for Simulation since January 18, 2010.

4 Steve Hogan Executive Director Florida Citrus Sports One Citrus Bowl Place Orlando, FL Phone: Steve Hogan was named the executive director of Florida Citrus Sports in August of 2006, after serving the organization for eleven years. He has been instrumental in its development from a bowl game into a much larger organization. In addition to his previous duties as assistant executive director, Hogan directly oversaw the Properties department of FCSports. In four years at that position, he has been responsible for all corporate sponsorships, merchandise, group ticket sales, skybox sales, regional brand marketing programs and advertising campaigns. Successes during that period include negotiations with the city of Orlando and the University of Central Florida that produced the right to acquire a naming rights partner for the Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium, the addition of a state of the art $2.8 million dollar video scoreboard and upper-deck display system, and a four-year, $4.5 million title partner agreement for what is now the Champs Sports Bowl. Hogan guided the growth and the development of the Champs Sports Bowl since its move to Orlando in Most recently, he structured the innovative title sponsorship deal that laid the foundation for the game s ability to raise team payouts from $1.7 million in 2005 to over $4 million in 2006 and played a key role in negotiating the renewals of the ESPN television contract and the ACC as a bowl partner, and the addition of the Big Ten conference to improve the game s match-up for the next four year cycle. He has also played a major part in the renewal of contracts for the Florida Classic, keeping the nation s largest historically black college and university (HBCU) football game in Orlando through With the new agreement, FCSports has taken on a stronger administrative role, serving as a managing organization for corporate partnerships, the game itself and all official ancillary events. In 1998, Hogan created the Gridiron Classic, a college football All-Star game to be played in Orlando. He became the executive director of the game and took it from concept to reality. This included negotiating television and title sponsor agreements and developing the necessary NFL and NFLPA relationships. In seven years, the game produced 136 NFL draft picks and generated over $1 million for charitable causes. Prior to the development of the Gridiron Classic, Hogan worked in the FCSports Events department, first as an events manager and then as senior director of events and operations. He managed a number of neutral-site college and professional football games held at the Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium, including Notre Dame vs. Navy and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. the Miami Dolphins. He also worked on the Orlando Citrus Parade, then the Citrus Bowl Game Parade, and increased gross income by 200% in his first year. Before arriving at FCSports in 1995, Hogan spent time at both McCaw Communications and the New York Times Newspaper Group in a marketing capacity. A native of Chicago, Hogan graduated from the University of Central Florida in 1991 with a B.A. in advertising and public relations. He currently resides in Orlando.

Dr. Macedonia also was the Director of the Disruptive Technology Office (now IARPA) for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. Prior to DTO, he was the Chief Technology Officer for PEO STRI in Orlando, FL and was responsible for the technology strategy of the U.S. Army s lead simulation system development organization. He has a PhD from the Naval Postgraduate School, a MS in Telecommunications from the University of Pittsburgh, and BS in Electrical Engineering from the United States Military Academy, West Point.

He was designated a Naval Flight Officer in April 1988 following flight training in Pensacola, Florida. Operational assignments include six deployments flying the A-6E Intruder and the EA-6B Prowler aircraft in the Attack Squadron Nine Five (VA-95) Green Lizards, Attack Squadron One Nine Six (VA-196) Main Battery, and Tactical Electronic Attack Squadron One Three Two (VAQ-132) Scorpions. During these assignments he flew attack and electronic attack missions in support of numerous military operations, including Classic Resolve, Ernest Will, Desert Storm, Fiery Vigil, Desert Strike, Deliberate Forge and Southern Watch. Ashore, Captain Nakagawa was selected for transition to the Aerospace Engineering Duty Officer (AEDO) community and held various flight test, engineering, and program management positions at Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) NAS Patuxent River, and Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) Naval Station San Diego. He also served in senior staff positions for the Navy Personnel Command (NPC PERS-43); the Program Executive Officer for Strike Weapons and Unmanned Aviation (PEO(W)); and for the Program Executive Officer for Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (PEO C4I). Captain Nakagawa has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from USC; a Master of Science Degree in Aviation Systems Management from the University of Tennessee Space Institute; is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Test Pilot School at NAS Patuxent River, Maryland; and is a member of the Defense Acquisition Corps. He has logged more than 2,700 flight hours in 23 different type aircraft, with 652 carrier arrested landings. Elaine is on assignment from Sandia National Laboratories, where she is a Principal Member of the Technical Staff in Cognitive Systems, to the Advanced Distributed Learning Initiative which is part of the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (Force Readiness & Training). Elaine leads research teams investigating transmedia learning and experiences with ubiquitous media, collaborative virtual environments, adaptability, and the anthropology of next generation learners interactions with future learning technology such as personalized assistants for learning (PAL). Elaine is a recipient of the Department of the Army Award for Patriotic Civilian Service, awarded to her by the U.S. Army Special Forces, and named one of the Outstanding Women of Sandia National Laboratories.
