2 Project Components Component 1: Strengthening the Medical & Health Department s Management and Accountability Systems. Strengthening strategic planning functions in the Health Department Improved use of data for program management Strengthening procurement and supply chain management and financial management systems Introducing and strengthening social accountability and provider incentive Component 2: Improving the Department of Health s capacity to perform its quality assurance role and more effectively engage the private sector. Establishment of QA, EM and PPP Cells at DGMH Improvement of quality of service delivery at public sector 40 hospitals Contracting private sector to improve quality of service delivery Ensuring availability of the full complement of human resources

6 Activities carried out State wide Integrated Health Management Information System EoI received from 25 firms Evaluation of EOIs and RFP preparation are in progress Facility Health Report Card Public View; 55 District Hospitals and 12 CMOS reported in District Hospitals and 29 CMOs reported in Personnel Information System Salary disbursement linked with PIS for doctors; Salary disbursement linked with PIS for Para-medical & other staff (parallel run to start from this month) Dashboard Facility and Doctors performance integration
