Besides its wn fur curses, PIC s catalgue f curses includes interdisciplinary cmputing and infrmatin technlgy curses frm five different FSU departments: Gegraphy, Infrmatin Studies, Scientific Cmputing, Cmmunicatin, and Business Management. PIC is als invlved with ther interdisciplinary effrts acrss campus including a Game Design Certificatin prgram, a Mbile Technlgies Develpment prgram, and a Fabricatin Art Research Center. PIC has develped new frms f nline teaching, utilizing scial netwrking and ppular nline technlgies, and intends t mve next t develping mbile platfrms fr educatin. PIC utilizes three faculty, 14 graduate students, and tw undergrads in its teaching and research. Sn after it was established, PIC successfully slicited the Flrida Bard f Educatin t add IDC

TEACHING Recent teaching respnsibilities: CGS2826 Intr t Web Site Design: This curse teaches Web site design skills and cnsideratins including graphics design principles, lgical design principles, usability, infrmatin management and cmmunicatin. CGS2835 Interdisciplinary Web Develpment: The curse prvides an intrductin t Web page and Web site design, Web site management, and Web prgramming fr students frm all disciplines. Students will gain an understanding f hw the Web functins, hw Web sites are designed t be visually pleasing and functinally useful, and will als learn basic systems develpment and cmputer prgramming techniques and cncepts.
