With an internship n Wall Street, anther at the White Huse, a leadership psitin in the Student gvernment Assciatin and as a student bard member fr the Illinis Bard f Higher Educatin, I had the pprtunity t advcate fr my career and t persnalize the CSU experience. At the White Huse I felt right at hme. I met s many different leaders as well as students frm a variety f schls frm whm I learned s much. It was great! I was prepared t be there, and that s because f my family at CSU. 6 Cllege f Business CHICAg STATE University Prgrams f Study in the Cllege f Business Chicag State University s Cllege f Business, accredited by the Accreditatin Cuncil fr Business Schls and Prgrams, is ne f three prfessinal clleges n the CSU campus. Students wh graduate frm the cllege earn a Bachelr f Science Degree in Business Administratin (B.S., Business Administratin) with a prfessinal cncentratin in ne f five areas: Accunting, Finance, Management, Management Infrmatin Systems r Marketing. This affrds the student a brad-based educatin in the key functinal areas f business including accunting, finance, statistical analysis, internatinal business, management and marketing strategy. The strng business cre f this degree, cmbined with the flexibility f the prfessinal cncentratin prepares graduates fr a wide range f psitins in a brad spectrum f business rganizatins. Yu are initially enrlled as an intended business majr until the cmpletin f specific curse requirements as listed belw. T be frmally accepted as a business majr, students must cmplete a minimum f 45 credit hurs with a minimum 2.5 grade pint average. Students transferring frm anther institutin must have cmpleted at least nine f their hurs at CSU. 7 Tutring fr a variety f disciplines is available t all f ur students. Admissins and Financial Aid Admissin t Chicag State University is selective. All applicatins are evaluated carefully n an individual basis. Our gal is t identify students wh pssess the ability, mtivatin and intellectual curisity necessary t succeed at Chicag State.
