2 ANNOUNCING The West Palm Beach/Jupiter Law Offices of Littky, Smith, Phipps, Casas and Phillips, P.A. in coordination with VSA arts of Florida - Palm Beach County invites Palm Beach County ESE elementary school students with disabilities to participate in the firm s Eighteenth Annual Holiday Card Contest. Nine prizes totaling $1350 will be awarded: 1. First Place Winner ($500 U.S. savings bond) Art Teacher ($200 Gift Certificate to Crafts & Stuff for class) First Place Winner s Class (pizza party-$75 check). 2. Second Place Winner ($200 U.S. savings bond), Art Teacher ($100 Gift Certificate to Crafts & Stuff for class) 3. Third Place Winner ($100 U.S. savings bond), Art Teacher ($50 Gift Certificate to Crafts & Stuff for class) 4. Fourth Place Winner($75 U.S. savings bond) 5. Fifth Place Winner ($50 U.S. savings bond) In addition, a gift of $1,000 will be given to VSA arts by Littky, Smith, Phipps, Casas & Phillips, P.A. in thanks for coordinating the contest. HOLIDAY CARD CONTEST Who: What: Law Offices of Littky, Smith, Phipps, Casas & Phillips, P.A., the West Palm Beach/Jupiter law firm specializing in personal injury, wrongful death and trial practice, in coordination with VSA arts of Florida - Palm Beach County, invite Palm Beach County ESE elementary school students with disabilities (grades K - 5) to design a cover for their holiday card. Participate in the firm s Eighteenth Annual Holiday Card Contest. There will be nine prizes totaling $1350: A $500 U.S. savings bonds for first place along with a $75.00 check for a pizza party for the first place winner s class; a $200 U.S. savings bond for second place; a $100 U.S. savings bond for third place; a $75 U.S. savings bond for fourth place; a $50 U.S. savings bond for fifth place. In addition there will be a $200 Gift Certificate from Crafts & Stuff for the first place winner s Art Teacher; a $100 Gift Certificate from Crafts & Stuff for the second place winner s Art Teacher; a $50 Gift Certificate from Crafts & Stuff for the third place winner s Art Teacher. Judges will look for creativity, talent and style in selecting winning holiday card cover designs. The Law Offices of Littky, Smith, Phipps, Casas & Phillips, P.A. will print the first place winner s design on the front of the firms holiday greeting card, and the 2 nd, 3 rd, 4 th, and 5 th place winners will also appear on the card, which is sent to the law firm s clients, judges, colleagues, and friends in December. In addition, a gift of $1,000 will be given to VSA arts by Littky, Smith, Phipps, Casas & Phillips, P.A. in thanks for coordinating this card contest. When: Deadline for submitting entries is 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 9, Entries must be delivered or mailed directly to: Law Offices of Littky, Smith, Phipps, Casas & Phillips, P.A. Narcissus at Clematis Street West Palm Beach FL Littky, Smith, Phipps, Casas & Phillips, P.A. cannot be responsible for entries lost or damaged in the mail, or for entries received after the deadline. Call with any questions or concerns. How: To Qualify: Judging will be based on the works suitability and creativity. Judging by Littky, Smith, Phipps, Casas & Phillips, P.A. will be held on Friday, October 16, Winners will be notified by phone and written confirmation no later than Friday, October 30, Public announcements and press releases will be issued. Only one 8 ½ inch by 11 inch entry per student. The design may be a drawing, painting, mixed and /or multi media created solely by the student on this entry form. Sculptures and three dimensional pieces are not acceptable. Please refrain from using glitter. The entry form and release must be filled out completely. The child s exceptionality must be verified by a representative of the school with a signature, preferably an ESE Teacher. A VSA arts photo release must be completed. The card must depict the spirit of the holidays; children are encouraged to explore their creativity. All entries become the property of Littky, Smith, Phipps, Casas & Phillips, P.A.
