1 November 10, 2010 ATTENTION PHOTOGRAPHY TEACHERS AND CLUB SPONSORS The Ocean County Camera Club will be holding its 7 th annual student photography competition for high school students in Ocean and Monmouth Counties on March 19, In last year s competition we received 157 photos from 11 high schools, and sent 65 photographs on to the national competition sponsored by the Photographic Society of America. Out of these 65 photos, 18 were chosen to be on display during the PSA s annual conference. Please start selecting your best photos for this year s contest. All information and forms are posted on our website to expedite the information to you, reduce expenses for us and to be environmentally friendly as well. The location and time of this year s competition will posted at a later date. Please check our club website for this information. All entries must be postmarked by March 5, The rules are the same as last year, allowing each school to submit 3 photos per category. The subject categories are: photojournalism, human interest, architecture, landscape/waterscape, and photographer s choice. The photographs may be in color or black and white. They may be taken with film or digital and they may be processed at home or commercially. The photos must be NO smaller than 5 x 7 and no larger than 9 x 12 or they will be disqualified. They cannot be mounted or framed. Please be sure to read all pages of this document. If you are having difficulty with the attachment, please me and I will assist you with the problem. To ensure accuracy, write all information as clearly as possible and include sponsor s address. All photo entries must be sent along with the appropriate forms to: OCCC Student Photo Contest c/o Bea Gagliano 229 North Drive Lakewood, NJ We are continuing our tradition with our Earle Stevens Best of Show Award, in honor of our past president.
