1 Professor Michael Enright PhD Harvard Recently called one of the world s reigning strategy gurus by the Academy of International Business, Professor Enright is a leading expert on competitiveness, regional economic development, and international business strategy. He joined HKU as Sun Hung Kai Professor of Business Administration in 1996 after six years as a professor at the Harvard Business School. Professor Enright had directed major reviews of the competitiveness of 20 different countries on related topics and has co-authored eight books on related topics. He has consulted to companies, government and multinational organisation s and appeared in more than 30 countries as an invited speaker and executive educator. An authority on strategic management and organisation development, he has worked with major corporations on developing their executives, won three prestigious research awards from the Academy of Management, and authored 4 books and over 50 articles in leading journals in the areas of strategy and organisation. 3 Dr. Marcus Schütz PhD Essen Dr. Schütz is the Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics, HKU. He has nearly 20 years industry experience and has conducted the turn around program as Director of Strategic Planning and Change Management of Shanghai Volkswagen Automotive Ltd. Turning around Shanghai Volkswagen: Lessons for Change Management He will share his real life experiences of how to turn around a joint venture in China successfully.

4 Professor Shih Chi-ping Professor Shih is an Adjunct Professor of HKU SPACE and the Senior Consultant and Commentator of Phoenix Satellite TV. He won the Outstanding Teacher Award at the 50 th Anniversary of HKU SPACE in March He is an expert in analysing political issues across the Strait. The Global Economic Crisis: Challenges and Opportunities for China Professor Shih will analyse the impact of the global Economic Crisis on China and as well as the challenges and opportunities for China in the new International Financial System.

5 Mr. CHUNG Po Yang, SBS, OBE, JP Mr. CHUNG (alias, Po CHUNG) is the Chairman Emeritus of DHL Express (HK) Ltd, and the co-founder of DHL Asia Pacific in He is also the Chairman of the Creative Initiatives Foundation, through the Po & Helen Chung Foundation. Mr. Chung holds a number of civic and professional appointments. He is a member of the Greater Pearl River Delta Business Council and the Hong Kong Logistics Development Council. 6 Mr. Ivan Chu Ivan Chu has been Director of Service Delivery at Cathay Pacific Airways since September 2008 and oversees all aspects of the airline s service both on the ground and in the air. His previous position was General Manager of Southwest Pacific based in Sydney, Australia. Mr. Chu joined Cathay Pacific in 1984 and has worked with the Group in Hong Kong, Mainland China, Taiwan, Thailand and Australia. Mr. Chu is also a Director of Cathay Pacific Catering Services (HK) Limited. 7 Professor Ali Farhoomand PhD McGill Professor Farhoomand is the founding director of the Asia Case Research Centre, HKU, specialized in Innovation and Information Management. He has taught and conducted research in universities across Asia Pacific, North America, and Europe, including executive development engagement at INSEAD and as a Visiting Scholar at MIT Sloan School of Management. He was the recipient for Outstanding Teaching Award 2008 in HKU. He has developed over 100 case studies which are distributed worldwide. His passion is to challenge students to think creatively.
