2 Section 4 VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING IN SCHOOLS Vocational Education and Training in Schools (VETiS) is defined as any nationally recognised vocational education and training that is counted as credit towards a senior secondary certificate. The tables below include both VCE and VCAL students enrolled in VET. In Victoria, VET may be undertaken within VCE VET programs; or through School Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships (SBAT), which includes part-time employment, part-time training, and part-time school; or through a recognition mechanism called Block Credit Recognition in the VCE.
