( By Laurent Nizri ( founder of Paris Fintech Forum event & Acsel Vice President Acsel ( Altéir Consulting ( organize this event with the support of Axelle Lemaire, French digital economy minister. Paris Fintech Forum will take place January 28th in conference center of the french ministry of economy (Paris Bercy) and will be a french & english spoken event with simultaneous translation in all sessions. The ambition is to be the biggest 2016 Fintech event in France. We target many objectives with that forum : Promote french & european innovation capacity in Fintech area, Facilitate communication and exchange between big corp, VCs and rising startups in digital finance, Think about potential regulation and sector evolutions that would help the development of real european fintech actors, Debate around the co opetition model that would be needed between european states and also between huge corps and rising fintech to support the European fintech development Take a look at fintech innovations from other parts of the world Debate risks & opportunities around fintech development with startups, classical financial institutions, French & European regulators, in order to point out the needed evolutions to support the sector. Schedule : 8:30 am to 6:30 pm Main theatre : Keynotes & Roundtables With the key support of our sponsors & partners, we will organize a day of debates, round tables, keynotes. We will bring together on stage more than 30 high level speakers : key French & European financial ecosystem actors, fintech rising stars and recognized European digital finance innovation players. 4 to 6 roundtables and as many keynotes will be held around following subjects : How could we better promote european footprint development of Fintechs New European regulations : risk or opportunities for the digital finance evolutions Banks & Insurance Vs Fintechs : competition, cooperation or co opetition model? French position and key strengths in the digital finance revolution Above fundraising races to have the biggest figures ever, what is the 2016 reality of fintech real economic development? Which regulation and/or mindset evolutions do we need to support digital finance sector? What are the business models of the new actors and what impacts on the big institutions existing business models? Data privacy, monetization and Fintech etc Auditorium : Fintech Pitches On another stage, around 50 companies in the digital finance area, rising Fintech startups as established institutions, will have the possibility to present their offers & innovations on a short format (6 to 8 mn pitches). Specific award session will be held at the end of the day to recognize Fintech innovations by a jury of international experts. Main Hall : Relax & network A dedicated lunch & networking sessions will help participants to link together the whole day.
