1 Pierre-De-Courbertin, C.P succ m, Montréal, Qc, H1V 3R2 EVENT NOTICE : Speed training camp and competitions : SBX FIS Level and Quebec Cup (provincial series) Mont-Tremblant, Québec January 10th-14th, 2012 EVENT The Mont-Tremblant Ski Resort in the Laurentians will host a SBX training camp with a course specifically built and designed for the camp. The camp will end with two SBX competitions on January 13 th and 14 th The events will be sanctioned by the FIS and are also part of the Coupe Québec 2012 series. REGISTRATION (Starting December 6th) Sign up for the training camps and the competitions online at Sign up for the training camp and the competitions online at click on the green button «Inscription en ligne» and follow the steps. Riders are strongly encouraged to register on-line as it saves time, money and secures a competition spot. On field, the rates will increase. Online registration will end 36 hours before the beginning of the competition. All registrations have to be completed and paid at least two hours before the scheduled Team Captain s Meeting for the FIS level competition which will take place the day before the competition and the day of competition (upon the pre-establish schedule) for Quebec Cup category. International Athletes (Outside of North America): In order to confirm your registration, the Event Organizers need to receive written confirmation from your National Snowboard Association that you are in good standing. A confirmation letter can be sent as a travel letter (shown at the event), submitted by to: evenements@quebecsnowboard.ca before December 31 st FIS level race: Competitors must also hold a valid FIS License, SAIP insurance and a provincial membership before registering, all of which can be obtained through Canada Snowboard. Provincial Membership: Competitors must hold a provincial membership. A one day license at $20 is available for non-members. The membership card is $35 and is valid for the entire season. Competitions are run in accordance with the FIS rules. Detailed rules are available at: All participants must sign the RELEASE AND DISCHARGE OF RESPONSIBILITY waiver for Mont-Tremblant Resorts. NOTE: Participants that are under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign their waiver. The signed waiver must be brought to the event. REGISTRATION FEES : ( Age on December 31st 2011 ) SBX Training Camp : January : 90,00$ total for 3 days SBX Competition: January 13 & 14 : Pre-Registration Fee On-Site Fee Coupe Québec ( 11+ ): 35,00$ each event 50,00$ each event F.I.S. SANCTION The competitions are sanctioned by the FIS, Canada Snowboard and Quebec Snowboard. ELIGIBILITY F.I.S. Level: to participate, riders must respect the following age limit: 15+ (born before December 31 st 1996) Competitors must purchase a FIS license before December 17 th Coupe Quebec levels: must hold a provincial license from Canada Snowboard or their respective province. NOTE TO SPECTATORS SBX competition courses are only accessible on skis or snowboard. ACCOMODATION
