2 Sponsorship Opportunities About The Risk and Network Threat Forum (RANT) The RANT Forum was established in 2007 as a networking event for Information Security Managers, Directors, CISOs and other senior information security and risk professionals who work within End User organisations. The event now attracts between 80 and 120 delegates each month and has rapidly gained a dedicated and loyal membership base, along side an increasing number of new faces every month. The RANT Forum provides it s members with the opportunity to discuss and debate relevant industry topics and issues, and to network with likeminded individuals in a very relaxed and informal environment. The idea of The RANT Forum is to provoke participation and debate within the community by requesting that the audience contribute to the topical presentation with their suggestions, opinions and questions in an open discussion & debate format. The relaxed, informal atmosphere is one of the reasons RANT is so successful, there are no long presentations, no theatre style seating and there is plenty of food and beverages served throughout the evening. RANT prides itself on being a sales free zone and hence it is closed to security vendors and consultancies except for sponsorship. The London RANT forum is held on the last Wednesday of every month in a private function room in one of the most well-known public houses in central London. By sponsoring a RANT, you will have the opportunity to get in front of some of the City s top CISOs/Information Security professionals, in a relaxed environment with some highly valuable speaking and networking opportunities. These opportunities are an extremely effective way to promote brand awareness and generate leads, as well as enable in-depth conversations and long term relationship building. The discussion is successful when the slides contain minimal content and discussion points are asked to the audience. 5 Sponsorship Opportunities RANT Format The format for the event is very much informal yet informative, with a speaker starting a RANT about a hot topic, and the audience then pitch in with their points of view, suggestions and opinions. The idea of the speech is to provoke participation and debate, and so the more controversial the topic the better! If the discussion host is a sponsor, this will be an exclusive arrangement, and no other vendors will be present. Following the RANT, guests are free to network, and food and drinks are served throughout the evening. Pre and Post event activity is carried out on all social media platforms, the RANT website, the Acumin website and through a series of invitations to over 2100 senior security professionals. RANT Location The London RANT is held in the private Griffin Suite of the Counting House in Central London. The Counting House was built in 1893 as Prescott s Bank and the foundations rest partly on the North sleeper wall of a 2000 year old Roman basilica. It is just a 5 minute walk from Bank or Monument underground stations in the heart of the City.
