2 CONFERENCES, TUTORIALS & EXHIBITION The Mechatronics 5 th European Mechatronics Meeting For the past 5 years, the European industry-education-research meetings on mechatronics anticipated and accompanied the mechatronics revolution known by many industrial sectors. This event, unique in Europe, brings together the leading players (industrial, engineering and design departments, researchers) around the new market needs and the most relevant mechatronic technologies. EMM 2007, 5 th edition, will mark our professions by positioning this event as the true European Mechatronics Summit in one of the most beautiful landscape of the Alps : to some extent the Davos of Mechatronics. 2
