3 1 Cybertill The Company 1.1 Cloud Computing Cybertill was founded in 2001 and along the way has racked up several world firsts. Cybertill was the world s first cloud computing retail system, although back in 2001 the termed used was Application Service Provider (ASP). At the time deploying software in the cloud (or online) was revolutionary, but founder and current CEO Ian Tomlinson, could see the way the retail was going which was online and multi-channel. To manage multiple sales channels retailers would need one version of the truth in terms of inventory levels and customer details. The cloud enables this, as there is a single product database and customer database. So all channels (stores, website, warehouses etc) link to the same file so a business can see stock levels across its organisation in real time, so it can get the right products to the right location at the right time thus optimising sales. Also all elements of the business share the same customer file so consumers get a better continuity of service. Cybertill s retail system encompasses EPoS (electronic point of sale), ecommerce and mail order software. And in Q4 of 2014 Cybertill will launch additional modules including merchandising, warehousing and loss prevention. This means retailers will be able to link their supply chain to their sales channels, in real time, making the entire organisation leaner and more efficient. Initially Cybertill was aimed at Independent retailers but its cloud proposition attracted larger multiple retailers. For the multiples it lowers their total cost of ownership but also many still use systems that poll data overnight so it would give them real time data across their business. Today, Cybertill boasts over 650 customers that use Cybertill across nearly 5,000 locations in the UK. Our customer portfolio includes single independents to national retailers including Virgin Media, Floors 2 Go, Neal s Yard Remedies to name a few.

4 1.2 Our Directors The Cybertill board of directors is comprised of management executives with extensive expertise and experience in the retail and technology industries and proven track records in successfully growing and developing businesses. Ian Tomlinson Chief Executive Officer Ian founded Cybertill in 2001 and controls both the evolution of the of the software and successful expansion of the business. His innovative approach and expertise ensure Cybertill continues to be a successful and ground breaking organisation. James Ward Chief Operating Officer James oversees the controlled and successful growth of the business. He is also responsible for finance and plays a critical part in the corporate governance and strategic development of Cybertill as a sound and profitable organisation. James joined Cybertill in 2004 and has held several senior posts within the business, including Finance Director. Prior to Cybertill James was the Finance Manager for a national electrical and building contractor. Neil Delaney Sales Director Neil joined Cybertill in 2014 and has a proven track record in enterprise sales in the retail sector. Neil has held senior director roles at retail service organisations such as Gunnebo and Payzone. His knowledge and expertise will help Cybertill launch and sell its ERP and supply chain retail modules. Rob Finley Business Development Director Rob has been with Cybertill since day one and has been central to the continual and successful growth of the business. Today Rob focuses on working with larger retail operations as well as charity retailers. Rob has over 25 years of experience in the retail sector, and worked for several different EPoS providers, prior to joining Cybertill. Ed Micklewright Client Services Director Ed s blue chip background has helped him craft Cybertill s working practice and culture alike. He originally joined Cybertill as sales manager before moving to client services and has been central to the organisation s focus and development of its client services. Ed was appointed Client Services Director in Prior to Cybertill Ed held a variety of client facing roles with several organisations including National Sales Trainer for Nestlé. David Anderson Product Director David oversees the direction and delivery of the Cybertill software solution and is responsible for the product strategy and future roadmap. David s background is retail focused, having over 20 years experience of working in the retail sector. In that time David has held a variety of senior management and director roles within the IT and supply chain business functions. David has worked for an array of well-known retailers including the Tesco Group. Dan Hayes Technical Director Dan joined Cybertill in June 2011 as Head of Technical and is responsible for the customer support helpdesk, Cybertill s internal IT provision and its hosted cloud based customer IT infrastructure. In April 2014 Dan was promoted to Technical Director where he oversees the Cybertill s IT and technical infrastructure. Dan has a strong background in retail having held a senior IT position at JJB Sports. Where he was responsible for overseeing the deployment of several software applications including EPoS, merchandising and warehousing. Dan is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) with many years experience of project management (PRINCE2 Practitioner and MSP Practitioner certified) and IT service management (ITIL v3 certified).

5 1.3 Our Market Position Cybertill has over 650 customers that use Cybertill across nearly 5,000 locations in the UK. It is the leading cloud based retail provider in Europe. Cybertill is looking at international expansion and is in the process of recruiting resellers for the North American market. Indeed there are already retailers using Cybertill in the US. Cybertill works across many different retail sectors, essentially non-food retail. It is used by well-known fashion, footwear, sports & outdoor, furniture, giftware, cycling and jewellery retailers including: Musto, Daniel Footwear, New Balance, Heal s, The Gift Company, Leisure Lakes and F. Hinds. Cybertill is also the leading provider of charity retail systems, with around one in three of all charity shops in the UK using Cybertill and over one hundred charities using Cybertill, including: British Red Cross, Cancer Research, PDSA and many more. To embed a customer-service based culture which delivers an increase in our overall customer satisfaction score to 8/10 by 31st March Innovation Service Customer Services To reduce down incidents per PoS to 0.55% through constant development of the product, with an improved GUI and self-help material delivered by 31st December To ensure seamless availability of the cloud software through load and performance testing, including fair usage policies with system limits and to create an improved offline experience for customers within the browser by 31st August Retail Store By the 31st March 2017 to have helped all our customers upgrade to the new Retail Store product; giving them significant benefits with additional functionality, security and new tools that will help them control and grow their business. 9 1.8 Our Location Cybertill is situated in the serene environment of Knowsley Business Park which is on Lord Derby s Estate, in Knowsley, Liverpool. Surrounded by farmland and woods the Cybertill offices are beautifully renovated barns and farm buildings punctuated with exposed brick and wooden beams throughout that make for a tranquil working environment. The offices have a large, secure and off-road and free car parking facility to the rear. All the offices are air conditioned and additional facilities include two fully equipped kitchens, a break out area with pool and air hockey table, game consoles and TVs, on-site gym and showers.
