1 MOBILETOTE USER GUIDE What is MobileTote? With MobileTote, you can view race day information and place your wagers through your mobile phone. View the following Race Day Infomation: Dividends Dividends Dividends The information above is updated automatically on screen. All bet types are available. Handphone Specifications - The mobile phone must support applications on MIDP 2.0 platform. In general, this would be enough to enable the MobileTote application to run smoothly. However, some of the selections and displays on the MobileTote application may look different on different handsets. MobileTote does not work with newer touchscreen models. MobileTote is a free service from the Singapore Turf Club but mobile data usage will be incurred. Customers are advised to check with their mobile operators and to have a mobile data plan when using MobileTote. 12

2 HOW TO START USING MOBILETOTE MobileTote Download Please select your preferred language: English After the installation is completed, you may go to the folder where the MobileTote application is installed and start the application. How to Start Using MobileTote 1 Register your mobile phone number with our Telebet Service Centre at To download the MobileTote application, use your mobile phone to enter the URL: and select Go or Search. You can choose to download the English or Chinese version of MobileTote. 3 Launch the downloaded application and activate it with the following: Mobile Number you registered with the Club Telebet Account Number and PIN 4 Once the MobileTote application is activated, you only need to enter your Telebet account PIN to access race day information and betting services on subsequent logins. The Telebet account number will be defaulted to the account number you have set during activation. View Past Race Results At the login screen, there is a Past Race Result option which allows you to view the race results of the past seven days. The cursor is highlighted in purple at selected runner 14. Select Next to continue. If you have selected a second place banker, it will be reflected in pink. Then enter your Bet Unit and proceed with bet as usual. 19

11 EXPRESS BETTING EXPRESS BETTING Selecting Express Betting will let you enter your betlines quickly. Enter your betline in the following format: <Meeting> <Race Number> <Bet Type> <Units> <Runner Selection>. Every number entry must be separated by a space. To toggle between space and symbols (. / # F), you can use the * button. 13 ROLL BETTING BET SR1 RWIN HORSE SELECTION For each of the Selected Races, enter your choice of runners. Eg. Singapore Race 1 WIN horse no. 1, Singapore Race 2 WIN horse no. 2 F BET SR2 RWIN HORSE SELECTION F CONFIRMATION You are placing SR1 * 2 RWIN 1 * 2 U1 Total Betlines = 1 Estimated Total Cost is $5 After all the runners of your selected races are keyed in, you will be prompted to enter bet units. 14 SAVED BETS SAVING BETS Every time you complete a betline, you can press Send Bet to send the bet immediately, or save it in the MobileTote application. Then, press Send Bet to place the bet and the status of your request will be shown. 25

15 RECALL LAST BET RECALL LAST BET You can use Recall Last Bet to quickly check on the transaction status of a sent bet (in the event of a break in transmission while sending the bet). If the bet has been accepted, it will be displayed accordingly. If a prior bet is displayed, it is likely that the sent bet was not accepted by the Club s computer system. The state of the track (Going) and the minutes to race will also be available. Select your choice of runner by scrolling up or down the list. Selected runner is highlighted in Yellow during scrolling. Runner highlighted in Light Red indicates the current hot favourite for the race. Runner highlighted in Blue indicates that you have selected the current hot favourite. You can place WIN and/or PLACE bets on the selected runner directly from this screen. Kindly note: Once Place Bet is selected for a runner and the WIN PLACE AD screen is exited, if Back is selected from the subsequent screen to return to the WIN PLACE AD screen, it will cease to update itself. To retrieve the latest WIN PLACE AD information with automatic updates, please select WIN PLACE AD from the Current Race AD screen again. 27

Selected combination is highlighted in yellow during scrolling. You can place FORECAST bets on the selected combination directly from this screen. Kindly note: Once Place Bet is selected for a combination and the FORECAST AD screen is exited, if Back is selected from the subsequent screen to return to the FORECAST AD screen, it will cease to update itself. To retrieve the latest FORECAST AD information with automatic updates, please select FORECAST AD from the Current Race AD screen again. Operation of PLACE FORECAST AD is similar to FORECAST AD. 28
