1 Welcome to WAPPoint. This Guide will help you to understand how to use your WAPPoint Machine Terminal. Please Select Machine Type. Nedbank Terminals have the same menu structure Nedbank Spectra Gemalto
2 Please Choose one of the following to Continue 1. Switch the machine on/off 2. How to do a Debit Card Sale 3. How to do a Credit Card Sale 4. How to do a Chip Card Sale 5. How to Reprint a Slip 6. Manual Settlement Need Help? 7. Profile Update / Test Comms
3 To Switch On: Press Paper Feed button To Switch Off: Hold down the yellow Backspace and the full stop button at the same time.
4 Swipe the card Select 1 for Sale
5 Enter in the Amount and then press the Enter key Select 2 for Cheque Or 3 for Savings
6 The Cardholder must type in their PIN and press Enter A merchant copy and customer copy slip will print The customer must sign the (Merchant) slip Compare with signature on back of the card and ensure they complete their contact number on the slip as well. Please inform your customer that WAPPoint / The Merchant Type will appear on their statement
7 Swipe the Card Enter the last 4 digits of the Credit Card Number OR Enter the 4 missing digits by comparing the card number to the number on screen. Enter the digits where indicated by an underscore or _ symbol.
8 Select 1- Sale Type in the Amount and Enter In some cases the machine will ask you to confirm the Amount. Press F2 for Yes
9 Press Enter for Straight or enter number of months for Budget and then press Enter key Pre-Authorized = F3 for NO
10 A merchant copy and customer copy slip will print The customer must sign the (Merchant) slip Compare with signature on back of the card and ensure they complete their contact number on the slip as well. Please inform your customer that WAPPoint / The Merchant Type will appear on their statement
11 Insert the card into the Chip Reader Slot Enter the last 4 digits of the Credit Card Number OR Enter the 4 missing digits by comparing the card number to the number on screen. Enter the digits where indicated by an underscore or _ symbol.
12 Select 1- Sale Type in the Amount and Enter In some cases the machine will ask you to confirm the Amount. Press F2 for Yes

18 Type in the Merchant Password (always ) and Enter A list of transactions will be printed out and please fax them to us if requested ( )
19 Press F1 Press 2 for Utilities
20 Press 2 for Download Press 1 for Profile

22 Switch On: Green button Switch Off: Remove Battery
23 Once the machine is fully switched on, it will request the cashier logon details. Name: 1234 Press Enter Pass: 0000 Press Enter
24 Swipe the Card or Insert the card into the chip reader slot Enter the Last 4 Digits of the card number and press enter
25 Enter the Amount & Press Enter If a chip card, the Cardholder must type in their PIN and press Enter
26 Slip is printed If it doesn t print the word Signature, it is not authorized Customer must sign (Merchant) slip Compare with signature on back of the card Another slip will be printed (Customer slip) Please inform your customer that WAPPoint will appear on their statement
27 Swipe the Card
28 Select 2 for Cheque Or 3 for Savings
29 Enter the Amount & Press Enter Cardholder must type in their PIN and press Enter
30 Slip is printed If it doesn t print the word Signature, it is not authorized Customer must sign (Merchant) slip Compare with signature on back of the card Another slip will be printed (Customer slip) Please inform your customer that WAPPoint will appear on their statement
31 Press the SETT button. Enter the Supervisor Name and Password Select 2 for Reprint Select 1 to Reprint the last record or 2 to reprint your daily batch
32 This is not necessary as the machine does a cash up after each transaction. Please fax your first 2 transaction slips to WAPPoint ( ) to ensure we have allocated the correct machine to your account.

34 To Switch On: Press the Down Arrow button To Switch Off: Press the Menu Button. Scroll down to Terminal. Press Enter. Scroll down to Power. Press Enter. Scroll down to Power Off.
35 Swipe the card or insert into chip reader slot. Press Enter Press Enter for Purchase
36 Enter in the Amount and then press the Enter key If Debit Card: Select 1 for Cheque Or scroll to 2 for Savings Press Enter to Confirm
37 The Cardholder must type in their PIN and press Enter A merchant copy and customer copy slip will print The customer must sign the (Merchant) slip Compare with signature on back of the card and ensure they complete their contact number on the slip as well. Please inform your customer that WAPPoint / The Merchant Type will appear on their statement
38 Press Menu Button Applications, Press Enter Down Arrow & Enter to select 2 for Reprint Enter Last Sequence Number The last successful transaction will be printed
39 Press the Menu Button Scroll down to Transactions End of Day Enter Manager Pin 6755 The device will dial out and A list of transactions will be printed out and please fax them to us if requested ( ) Press 1 for Settle
40 Switch off the Device Switch On the Device
