3 Payment Options - Cash Payments 4 Your payment will reflect (on your credit card account) within a maximum of 24 hours 1 You can make a payment at any FNB branch during office hours and on Saturdays between 8h30 and 11h00 A cash payment is one of the ways you can pay your credit card account. 2 You will need to complete a deposit slip, statement tear-off slip or pay using your card. Remember to use your 16-digit credit card number as a reference for payments 3 Present your deposit slip and cash to a teller/ consultant to process your payment to your credit card account Please note: A cash deposit fee is charged if you pay cash into your credit card account To avoid this charge, we recommend that you use one of the easy electronic payment methods

4 Payment Options - Cheque Payments How to complete a cheque How to process cheque payments The following mandatory fields must be completed: Date Payee name (Customer name) Amount in words Amount in rands and cents (must correspond with amount in words) Signature Your 16-digit card number should be visible on the cheque as reference for payment Cross your cheque Please note that the cheque must be marked not transferable or not negotiable boldly across the face of the cheque. The reason for this marking is that a not transferable cheque can only be paid into a bank account in the name of the person to whom the cheque has been made out. FNB does not accept post-dated cheques. Post You will need to complete a cheque (see how to complete alongside) and post it in a sealed envelope to: FNB Card, P.O. Box 1420, Johannesburg, On receipt of the cheque, FNB Card will process your payment to the credit card account number provided, and your cheque account will be debited with the amount that has been authorised. Your card account is now credited and the availability of the funds is subject to a clearance period. Should you wish to clear your funds or that of a third party cheque immediately, you will have to obtain special clearance from your Bank. Please note: this payment method is not recommended, as cheques are often misplaced in the post. A cheque is subject to seven days uncleared effects and, if posted, could also be delayed or intercepted. FNB Card does not accept responsibility for loss or theft of such cheques. In addition, it is of utmost importance that the cheque be made out in the name of the Cardholder to prevent monies going to incorrect accounts. Branch You can make a payment at any FNB Branch during office hours and on Saturdays between 8h30 and 11h00 You will need to complete a cheque and deposit slip or use your card. Remember to use your 16-digit credit card number as a reference for payments. Present your deposit slip and cheque to the teller/consultant so your payment can be processed to your credit card account. Your payment will reflect on your card account within 24 hours. Please remember that a clearance period will apply. This is the period determined by the bank to ensure funds are honoured. Please note that split cheques will not be accepted

8 Payment Options - Direct Debit Order Direct Debit Order 4 EASY STEPS Other important details to know regarding Direct Debit Orders A direct debit order is a written instruction from yourself to FNB Card, which gives FNB authority to debit your transactional account and credit your Card account. We strongly recommend that you pay your credit card using a debit order facility, as it is the most efficient and reliable method. Benefits You save time and money. You save on cash deposit fees. You avoid the trouble of writing and sending cheques. Setting up a debit order is free. Avoid late payment and over limit fees. To apply for a direct debit order you are required to supply us with the following information: Bank account number Branch code Branch name Account type Card account number Amount (if you want a specific fixed amount to be deducted) Name and surname Payment option, i.e. full, fixed or minimum Please ensure that the written instruction is signed by the account holder. Fax or post your debit order instruction to us. You will find the forwarding details on your statement or you can refer to the attached contact details sheet. The agent will capture your relevant details on receipt of the instruction You must ensure that the debit order instruction forwarded to FNB Card is correct. Please note that your debit order will be effective if loaded before your next statement date, e.g. If your Statement Date is 3 February, and your Due Date is 28 February, you need to forward the details on or before 2 February (a month in advance) to ensure your debit order goes off your account timeously. Should you wish to change the first payment date, please indicate this on your request form. It is important to know that you have 3 options to pay via debit order, namely full, fixed or minimum. (N.B If the minimum payment exceeds the fixed amount the minimum amount will be debited) Regularly check your statement to ensure that the correct amount is debited. The debit order will automatically be cancelled should it be returned as insufficient funds by your bank after two consecutive times, and the relevant fees will be charged. On the payment due date, your amount payable (either the minimum amount due or the full amount owing) will automatically be deducted from your bank account and your credit card account will be credited subject to one day uncleared effects. A fixed amount can also be deducted and credited monthly, which will ensure that your account is always in good standing. 4
