2 INSERT PAGE 8, BEFORE SOUTH UNIVERSITY COLUMBIA SECTION South University Austin The South University Austin campus facility will be conveniently located just off Hesters Crossing Road, at 1100 W. Louis Henna Boulevard in Round Rock, Texas, north of Austin, and will include faculty offices, lecture classrooms, and a computer lab space to support the campuses. The Austin campus will also provide students with technology to enhance learning which includes wireless internet access, video conferencing equipment, smart classroom technology, and student computer labs. South University Austin is creating a library that is designed to support general education and all of the programs to be offered at the Austin campus. The library is designed to provide comfortable seating and quiet study space and will include print and online books, periodicals, journals, CDs, videos, newspapers and numerous databases. Reviews, catalogs, publisher/vendor recommendations, faculty/student recommendations, comparisons with holdings of other libraries, and identifying and acquiring resources are methods used in collection development to ensure collections support the Austin campus s programs at all levels. South University Austin offers students a broad-based core curriculum designed to promote critical thinking and effective verbal and written communication. The Austin campus will provide a comprehensive education and give students an opportunity to experience a philosophy that values both learning and a contribution and commitment to the advancement of community.
