With its first day of class slated for November 10, 2011, South University s Austin area campus will occupy approximately 59,000 square feet at 7700 W. Parmer Lane in Austin, effective October 27, We are proud to bring South University s history of academic excellence to Austin, and to continue our tradition of providing higher education programs in areas of study that help students gain the professional skills they need to enter or advance their careers, said John T. South, III, Chancellor of South University. Our new campus will provide residents of greater Austin with rewarding opportunities to help them achieve their personal and academic goals. Initially, South University Austin will offer a master s degree program in Business Administration; bachelor s degree programs in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Information Technology, and Psychology; and associate s degree programs in Accounting, Business Administration, and Information Technology. Neal has served on the executive management teams of three different universities over the course of nine years. Prior to her appointment as president, Neal served as Senior Director of Admissions at South University s Savannah campus, where she ensured consistent admissions growth and assisted in campus budgeting, accreditation, and programmatic developments. Before joining South University, Neal served as Senior Director of Admissions of Argosy University s Tampa campus and Director of Admissions at Argosy University s Nashville campus. Her accomplishments include successfully managing admissions teams, creating and cultivating positive community and corporate partnerships, and co-authoring the Tampa campus reaccreditation self-study for the Higher Learning Commission. Neal earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Alabama with a concentration in new venture management, and holds a bachelor's degree in Humanities and Social Sciences magna cum laude from Cumberland University. Additionally, she is pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration at Argosy University and expects to graduate in 2011.
