We are pleased to call sealed quotations from all the HO approved vendors of ALARM SYSTEM. 2. In order to finalize the price of the ALARM SYSTEM, we request to submit sealed tender for the same, on the enclosed format of financial bid and technical bid along with Demand Draft of Rs.200/- in favour of Punjab National Bank, payable at Jodhpur towards cost of Tender Documents. 3. All the Specific and General conditions of the tender are given in succeeding paragraphs. SPECIFIC CONDITIONS 4. The Vendor, to have their Company s Service Centre anywhere in Rajasthan functioning with trained support staff and technicians. If this condition is not fulfilled the application may be rejected out rightly. GENERAL CONDITIONS 5. Following are the general conditions:- a) The offer should be made as per annexure I &II. b) The vendor may be called for demonstration of the product during or after the finalization of tender process. c) The vendor should be ready to enter into contract for one year or more with this office. d) The tenders should comprise 2 separate envelopes :- i) ENVELOPE A - containing the following:- - DD for Rs 200/- towards cost of Tender Documents.

2 - Address with phone No and Fax No of registered office in Rajasthan on firms/company letter head. - Undertaking that the vendor is ready to provide the services/ product as per the terms and condition mentioned in technical and financial bid.(undertaking format mentioned as annextureii. ii) ENVELOPE B -The Financial Bid as per Annex IV enclosed. e) Both the above envelopes duly marked as A and B and super scribed as Technical and Financial Bids respectively should be enclosed in a bigger envelope, duly sealed and super scribing Tender for ALARM SYSTEM at Jodhpur Circle. The total price must be quoted in words and figures both. f) The Bank reserves its rights to reject or cancel any or all the tenders without assigning any reason what so ever. g) Last date for receipt of sealed tenders, complete in all respect at this office is 06/06/2011 (till 1600hrs) h) Tender received after the appointed date and time will NOT be entertained. i) All the tenders received up to the appointed time on the appointed date will be opened on the same day i.e 06/06/11 at 4.00 pm in this office. 9. 4 Annexure-II TECHNICAL BID FOR INTEGRATED ALARM SYSTEM The integrated alarm system should have dual compartment, one for sensing events of intrusion and the other for sensing events of smoke / fire. It should have different model to cater to the size of the premises, and consequently different population of intrusion / fire sensors that may be required to be installed. The alarm system must have a built-in intelligent auto speech dialer which can send a voice message to 6 to 8 subscribers on their land line or cellular phone. The system should be compatible with the CCTV cameras (if installed in branch office), all types of sensors installed in the premises (Magnetic, PIR, Smoke, Heat sensors etc) and a central monitoring system (if and when installed). A separate control panel for burglary alarm and fire alarm should not be required. It should be possible to activate and de-activate the alarm system over a telephone using simple codes. should have duress feature and be capable of executing essential functions even in off position. Should support panic / pedal switch. should have programmable auto cut off facility for the siren / hooter (the siren / hooter) should be installed in such a manner that it is not readily and easily visible and accessible in order to preclude chances of an intruder / burglar removing / de-activating the same. should have facility for automatic switch over to night mode by pre programming. The other features should be: i) Back up power supply system should be maintenance free and re-chargeable with an intelligent charger. Low battery indicator should be built-in. ii) Facility for auto testing of the system.

5 iii) Sturdy, sleek and presentable casing. iv) Minimum and normal electric and telephone Wireless systems may also be called for. cables. v) Where feasible, incorporation of serviceable accessories and components of existing alarm systems like siren, cables, switches, PIR/magnetic sensors should be possible. vi) vii) Activation in case of tampering. Remote activation, if possible. viii) Apart from audio alarm, the system should activate a silent alarm at a designated place. ix) Green LED Indications for faulty Isolated zones. x) Red LED Indications for alarming zones. xi) Day and Night mode LED Indications. xii) Emergency Switch for instant alarm. xiii) In the case of wireless alarm system, the sensors and switches should be within the range of the main panel without using repeaters. AUTODIALLERS 1. Minimum 10 telephone numbers - non-volatile memory. 2. Minimum 2 messages of seconds duration, storage and recording facility. 3. High quality rechargeable battery back up. 4. Remote activation, if possible. 5. Call over ride and line take over facility. 6. Automatic and manual self testing at pre set time/otherwise. 7. User friendly easy programming and simple operation. 8. Replay or display of numbers where message delivered with facility to retrieve this information at later stage. 9. No false activation due to voltage fluctuation etc.

6 10. Facility to cut off message delivery using a number code/master key. 11. Preferably quick dialing facility. 12. Should also activate an emergency silent alarm, if required by the bank. 13. High tolerance to voltage and noise variations, electric surges and spikes control. 14. Preferably remote key pad facility; also for arming/disarming from a separate site. 15. Remote testing facility 16. Auto resetting Other Terms and conditions-: 1. Only those vendors are allowed to participate who are ready to take The AMC of already installed systems at B/Os. For this vendor can visit the B/O ( to check the system installed) with prior permission of this office. 2. Vendor has to visit the B/O within 72 hours of Lodgment of complaint by the B/O other wise a fine of Rs 200/- per day will be levied. 3. It will be the sole discretion of the bank to replace the existing old systems with the new system. 4. All the newly installed systems will be provided free AMC/ Warranty for one year from the date of installation. 5. Only those Vendors are eligible to apply who are on the approved list of PNB for alarm system. UNDERTAKING BY THE VENDOR I had understood all the terms and conditions mentioned in the financial as well as technical bid and ready to enter into an agreement with the bank to provide the product / service on the mentioned terms and conditions.
