3 Executive Summary ARMADA presents this proposal which outlines the fees associated with the purchase (and set-up, programming, training and shipping if the options are selected above) of a portable alarm system, as well as the monitoring of the alarm devices. The product that has been selected for this application is a Tattletale portable alarm system. Cost Summary We have outlined the purchase if the Tattletale base unit and accessories (and set-up, programming, training and shipping if the options are selected above) as a fixed price. If the set-up option is selected, the fixed prices include travel, basic expenses, Per Diems, and general administrative support. The fixed price also includes applicable taxes. 5 Indoor Products Indoor Wireless Motion Detector The Indoor Wireless Motion Detector can be placed up to 2000 feet away from the tattletale unit depending on structures and objects in-between the motion detector and the tattletale. It is highly sensitive to moving heat (infrared radiation) and has a coverage area of 50' by 105. The 3V lithium battery that is included will typically last for 2-3 years. $ Glass Break Detector The remote Glass Break Detector can be placed up to 2000 feet away from the tattletale depending on structures and objects in between it and the tattletale. 6 Smoke Detector The remote Smoke Detector can be placed up to 2000 feet away from the tattletale unit depending on structures and objects in-between the smoke detector and the tattletale. It uses photoelectric technology to detect smoke (not heat) and it continually monitors its own sensitivity and operational status. The tattletale does not need to be armed to send a smoke alarm. The two 3V lithium betteries that are included will typically last for about 1 year. $69.00 Door / Window Sensor The remote Door/Window Sensor can be placed up to 2000 feet away from the tattletale depending on the structures and objects in-between it and the tattletale. The larger rectangle is the sensor and the smaller piece is the magnet. This sensor is designed to trigger an alarm if the ambient temperature reaches 43 degrees Fahrenheit or 6.1 degrees Celsius. The transmitter will continue to send an alarm signal until the ambient temperature returns above 43ºF. 7 High Temp Sensor (135 F) The High Temperature Sensor can be placed up to 2000 feet away from the tattletale depending on structures and objects in-between the detector and the tattletale. This sensor is designed to trigger an alarm if the ambient temperature reaches 135 degrees Fahrenheit or 57.2 degrees Celsius. The transmitter will continue to send an alarm signal until the ambient temperature returns to normal range. The 3.0V Lithium battery that is included will typically last for 2-3 years. $ Outdoor Products Rattler The Rattler can be placed up to 2000 ft away from the tattletale base unit depending on the objects and structures between the Rattler and the base unit. The Rattler is sensitive to movement and vibration. The Rattler unit can be placed on top of the item(s) to be protected. It can also be attached to any metal object with the integrated magnets. For example: on top of a stack of lumber, drywall or other building materials, on the engine cowling of a backhoe, on top of appliances or HVAC units prior to installation. 8 The Loop (10 foot) The LOOP (10 foot) is a sensor device that can be used indoors and outdoors. You can think of it as an electronic bike lock that you can use to tie up your tools and equipment (such as backhoes, generators, ladders, etc.) If the LOOP is cut or disconnected when the tattletale alarm unit is armed, an instant alarm signal will be transmitted. The LOOP can be placed up to 2000 feet away from the alarm unit depending on structures and objects between it and the tattletale. The LOOP can operate normally between 0 F and 120 F and is completely waterproof. This ensures a strong signal to the base station, up to 2000ft away depending on structures between the tattletale and the motion detector.
