2 We thank you for the opportunity to work with you regarding your colocation needs in Singapore. We can colocate standard rack-mountable servers or other kinds of standard or nonstandard telecommunications equipment. We have space available from 1 RU up to full enclosed, lockable cabinets and private, caged areas and suites. Singapore Site Overview The Singapore colocation site is located in the High Tech business district of Singapore, within a discreet building ideally suited for the operation of a telecommunications facility. The site is located within Singapore Science Park, regarded as South East Asia s most prestigious research and development (R&D) and technology hub. The Aries building in Science Park II, where the colo space is located, is a four storey building plus one storey carpark. It was constructed by Japanese firm Sato Kogyo and received the highest quality score by CONQUAS (the Construction Quality Assessment System in use for Singapore).

3 The building has been designed to ensure elimination of single points of failure and graceful degradation, with N+1 redundancy. The rooms in the Data Centre are equipped with: Air Conditioning (N+1 configuration) State of the art Video Surveillance, Intruder Detection and Access Control State of the art Building Management System (Monitoring and Control) Aspirating Smoke Detection System / Very Early Detection and Alarm Fire Detection and Suppression to Local Regulations A raised access floor system is provided to accommodate all cable containment in a neat and unobtrusive manner for accurate retrace. Floor void is also utilised as an air plenum for cooling of cabinets.

4 Control room incorporated from which operators can view the main entrance, corridors, transport room and PTT room and view trouble tickets opened by the customer support team. In addition, operators have the ability to monitor the environmental support systems (cooling systems, UPS, generators, etc). Building Specifications The total site area is 3,212m² and is divided into the following areas: Switch Room Transport Room Control Room Four distinct Colocate Rooms (Colo Rooms 1, 2, 3 & 4) DC Power Equipment Room UPS Power Equipment Room Low Voltage Power Distribution Room A raised access floor system is provided to accommodate all cable containment in a neat and unobtrusive manner for accurate retrace. Floor void is also utilised as an air plenum for cooling of cabinets. The control room incorporated from which operators can view the main entrance, corridors, transport room and PTT room and view trouble tickets opened by the customer support team. In addition, operators have the ability to monitor the environmental support systems (cooling systems, UPS, generators and so on). Security In addition to the standard security measures provided by the building management, the IDC has employed four additional lines of defence for the security of your equipment. These additional measures include access controls, CCTV, alarms and onsite security.

5 Access Control All entry and exit routes into and out of the building have heavy-duty doors and locks and are fitted with electronic card activated door access control. This access control allows full flexibility to limit access to times of the day, days of the week and to specific areas. The data center is a secure environment with access only to authorised and qualified personnel. 24 hour x 7 day instant access is available if required (subject to pre-registration). Other Security Features All sensitive areas of our IDC installations and customer racks are monitored 24 hours per day by a sophisticated CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) system. These are recorded and archived continually for a period of minimum 31 days. In common areas including colocate areas each aisle is monitored by at least one camera. Anti-intrusion devices detect and alarm all vulnerable services and installations. Security guards are continuously on-site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Power AC power to the colocation site has been designed for safe and secure distribution of electrical power to all building services and telecommunications services contained within the site. The site features dual redundant supplies for maintenance purposes and elimination of single points of failure. There is effective protection of all final equipment via correctly rated individual circuit breakers, installed in a manner to ensure complete electrical discrimination. AC capacity of the site is as follows:

6 Ultimate Capacity 4000kVA 5700 Amperes Two Main Incoming Supplies from 2 Transformers each rated at 3000kVA Two Main Distribution Boards (A + B dual redundancy) Two Main Distribution Boards also fed by 3 x 1500kVA Generator Sets. DC Power is also available onsite with conversion of AC electrical power to 48v DC with standby battery support. Safe and secure distribution of direct current electrical power is provided for telecommunications services within the Transport room, Switch room and selected colocation rooms. DC Capacity: 6000A at 48v DC Emergency Backup Power Emergency systems are in place to provide uninterruptible electrical power to equipment cabinets/racks within colocation spaces. Backup power also covers all mission critical site equipment (e.g. Network Management System, and Security Systems). The UPS supplies conditioned power to equipment at all times, free from voltage transients, spikes and harmonics. The UPS systems have capacity for complete battery autonomy for 60 minutes at full load. UPS Total Capacity of 2000kVA consisting of 5 x 400kVA Static, On-line, Synchronised UPS Units. The UPS setup features Automatic Static bypass facility and Isolation Transformer (Providing N+1 configuration).

Power Transformer & Standby Generator Infrastructure The power supply infrastructure is located external to the building on the ground floor. All plant is located within purpose-built facilities and has been designed to supply the colocation site with power at all times. Incoming High Voltage Switch Room 42 m² Transformer Area 36 m² Standby Generators Area 181 m² Loadbank Area 15 m² Capacity: Incoming High Voltage Power Supply 4000kVA Power Transformers 2 x 3000kVA Standby Generators 3 x 1500kVA (Synchronised) Co-location Racks The colocation racks receive power from the local distribution panels, which are in turn fed from UPS output A and UPS output B (A + B dual redundancy). There is a single, independent secure power supply provided to each cabinet, with no circuit sharing. If required, racks may be provisioned with a second power supply (B) either during initial provisioning or at a later date, with no service interruption. All cabinets are electrically isolated and connected to a noise free clean earth system.

8 Transport Room There is a transport room at the site to provide multiplexing, de-multiplexing, protocol conversion and other data adaptations necessary to connect colocated equipment to local PTT networks or for interconnection to any other required telecommunications services (such as frame relay, ATM and so on). The transport room has capacity as follows: > 16,000 E1 circuits > 2,000 DS-3 circuits 10 STM1 circuits > 3,456 optical connections out of site. > 180,000 full non-blocking 64k cross connects using E1 Cross Connect > 32,000 full non-blocking E1 cross connects using STM-1 Cross Connect Backbone at the data centre is connected via Giga Ethernet Under Floor Fire Detection and Suppression System A double-action water mist suppression system is installed under the raised access floor in all areas. The system comprises a network of steel pipes with feed sprinkler heads located at specified intervals. Under normal conditions, the pipes running under the floor do not contain water but compressed air. Should one of the many sprinkler heads accidentally break, air will escape from the head and an alarm will be raised in the control room. The sprinkler heads installed under the floor, are designed to rupture when they reach a temperature of 68 C. A deluge valve controls the flow of water into the sprinkler pipes, this valve is controlled by the fire alarm system. When two smoke detectors are activated in different zones, the fire alarm system will open the sprinkler deluge valve and allow water to flow into the sprinkle pipework. If at that stage, none of the sprinkler heads have ruptured, then the sprinkler pipes will be partially charged with water. As the individual sprinkler heads then become affected by the fire and reach 68 C, they rupture and water is dispersed.

9 It is common for the majority of fires within data centers to originate under raised access floor (where fitted). In the event of this occurring in the Aries facility, the detection systems installed have been designed to identify the source and location of the problem at an early stage, thereby allowing it to be tackled and extinguished without excessive damage to customers equipment. Conventional Fire Detection & Alarm System. Should a situation occur whereby a fire cannot be tackled locally, then the conventional heat and smoke detectors will activate the general fire alarm system. The building will be evacuated and the fire brigade will arrive at site (after notification of fire being transmitted via the auto-dialer) to tackle and extinguish the fire. The Fire Alarm, Detection and Suppression systems installed have received full certification and are tested and inspected regularly under maintenance contracts. INERGEN Fire Suppression System INERGEN contains only natural gases taken from the air and when discharged, cannot cause any harm to the environment or to materials in the protected enclosure. The composition of INERGEN is 52% Nitrogen, 40% Argon and 8% Carbon Dioxide, making it an inert gas mixture. This fire extinguishing method is to physically reduce oxygen to a level that does not support combustion. There is no risk of decomposition with the use of INERGEN allowing a gentler discharge as compared to Halon and synthetic gases. INERGEN can be designed to vary the speed of extinguishment as required by the application. Most applications are protected effectively by a discharge time of 60 seconds to 120 seconds. Due to its physical properties INERGEN ensures a very homogenous mixture and a very long holding time for the extinguishing concentration. INERGEN contains only natural gases. After discharge it will not decompose into toxic and corrosive chemicals due to contact with fire or hot surfaces. This is a very important

10 advantage unique to inert gases. INERGEN is stored gaseous even at 300 bars cylinder pressure. During discharge, the cooling is very limited and there is no condensation of air humidity. Perfectly clear visibility during and after discharge is maintained. INERGEN is a gentle agent. If the property is exposed to normal atmospheric air, INERGEN will provide a drier and cleaner air than before the discharge. Telephone Carriers Our Singapore IDC offers a range of high quality, highly reliable international voice and data services. The IDC is Carrier Neutral allowing connections to SingTel, Starhub and other service providers. Connections can be made at the Postal Telephone and Telegraph (PTT) room, where there are connection points to SingTel, Starhub, Verizon and so on with unlimited bandwidth and with various services like PSTN, ISDN, SDH, Ethernet, Mega Pop, DSL etc. Local carrier transmission equipment for STM-1, DS- 3, E3 and E1 lines can be used as required.
