As international coordinator I was responsible for managing and monitoring a range of programs, including post-registration degrees and Masters Degree for students from Singapore and Japan. The Japanese Program (known as Nissoken) is the largest overseas academic program of any Australian University, with over 1200 students graduating as of My role as Program Manager, Critical Care, required me to manage the Graduate Certificate, Masters and Masters with Honours programs. These were very successful programs, with up to 50 enrolments per year. These programs were also developed as off campus programs using web enhanced materials utilizing the software program Blackboard. 6 Program Convenor Japan/Nissoken Bachelor of Nursing (Post-registration) Visiting Scholar Tweed Heads District Hospital and Health Service applied for and received research grant examining critical care outreach services As Lecturer, I was responsible for the overall coordination and management of several academic programs, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. During this time I developed the Postregistration degree curriculum for Singapore (Cornerstone project) and submitted this to the Singapore Nursing Board for accreditation. This was the first Australian Nursing Program to receive SNB accreditation. We commenced in Singapore with 9 students has now grown to 180 students as of September 2008 and is the largest overseas academic program offered onshore in Singapore. In my role as Clinical Coordinator, I was responsible for organizing and monitoring clinical placements for up to 400 undergraduate nursing students in a range of health care settings.
