Stallworth Dade County Junior College Dade County Junior College, one of the new publicly supported junior colleges in Florida, began operations September 6, 1960, with an enrollment of 1,063 full time students and 325 part-time students. TIle college presently operates in two centers: Central, 1895 N. W. 95th St., and Northwestern, 7007 N. W. 12th Avenue. The College offers the following programs: 1. Programs paralleling the freshman and sophomore years of the four year college and university. 2. Two-year technical programs. 3. Two-year special degree programs (non-technological) and adult education programs. The Associate in Arts or Associate in Science Degree is awarded to students completing two year programs.
