Box 2530, Selma, Alabama Mr. Bradley Byrne, Chancellor (334) President: Responsible for total campus operations. The President is the chief executive officer of the college who reports to the state-wide Chancellor of the Alabama College System. The Chancellor reports to an elected statewide board. All dean level administrators report to the President. The President is responsible for organization and administration of the college, recruitment, appointment and release of faculty and staff members, fundraising, college and community relations, planning, proposal development, development of fiscal plan and budget for the college, supervision of reporting requirements and maintaining accreditation and spokesperson for the college, collaboratively setting goals and objectives for the college while monitoring institutional effectiveness. DEAN OF STUDENT SERVICES 4/97-7/2000 SAMPSON COMMUNITY COLLEGE Post Office Box 318, Clinton, North Carolina Dr. Clifton W. Paderick, President (910) Chief student services administrator responsible for the College=s comprehensive student development program. Responsibilities include over all planning and implementation of the following student development components: recruitment, admissions, registration and records, financial aid, student placement, placement testing, student government, student activities, veterans affairs, counseling, health services, child care, and student support services. Supervisory responsibility for fifteen (15) staff members. Assist in the development, allocation, and administration of the College and student services divisional budget. Responsible for the divisional operating budget of over $500,000, and the oversight of a $1.2 million financial aid program. Serve as member of the management committee, administrative council, planning committee, personnel committee, marketing committee, and diversity committee. Attend and give reports at monthly Board of Trustees meeting.

Paderick, President (910) Senior administrator responsible for multi-divisional projects as assigned by the President. Development and coordination of policy and procedure revisions in various college handbooks and manuals. Develop and administer the College's diversity plan and affirmative action plan, personnel functions within the President's Division. Coordinate and assist staff in grant and proposal development. Supervisory responsibility for Personnel, Resource Development, Public Relations, and Planning and Research offices. Responsible for an annual operating budget of over $150,000. Serve as a member of the management council, administrative council, planning council, marketing committee and personnel committee. Performed public speaking engagements and community out-reach activities. Assist the President in other duties assigned, and serve as the administrator in charge of the college operations in the President's absence. DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT AND COLLEGE RELATIONS 7/90-4/92 FLORIDA MEMORIAL COLLEGE Northwest 42 nd Avenue, Miami, Florida Dr. Lee E. Monroe (214) Senior administrator responsible for the development and implementation of the College's institutional advancement program. The institutional advancement program encompassed planning for a major capital campaign, annual giving, church relations, alumni relations, grant and proposal development, public relations, corporate and foundation giving. Prepared oral and written reports of the program for the Board of Trustees. Served as a member of the President's Cabinet and was responsible for college relations for both internal and external constituencies. Other responsibilities included the preparation and monitoring of a $1.2 million dollar annual budget, recruited, trained, supervised and evaluated six staff members (4 managerial / 2 clerical). Represented the President at various external and internal functions. Performed public speaking engagements. COORDINATOR-MINORITY, WOMEN, AND DISABLED BUSINESS 3/88-6/90 GOALS PROGRAM NORTH CAROLINA DIVISION OF PURCHASE AND CONTRACT 116 West Jones Street, Raleigh, North Carolina Mr. Drew Harbinson (919) Implemented and enhanced the Governor's Goals Program with all state agencies to increase the participation of these businesses in the state purchasing process. Provided technical assistance to state purchasing agencies for the implementation and enhancement of the Goals Program statewide, in conjunction with building a network between special interest vendors and state agencies. In addition, conducted small business seminars, pre and post bid conferences, business development, creation and expansion for special interest businesses. Communicated and

PURCHASING OFFICER 12/86-3/88 NORTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES/COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT Raleigh, North Carolina Mr. William Powell (919) Accountable for all phases of purchasing activities for the Department that included goods, services, contracts and leases. Negotiated contractual services and lease agreements for the Department. Developed and implemented an automated purchasing system with other state agencies. DIRECTOR OF RECRUITMENT AND ADMISSIONS 11/78-7/86 Dr. Stanley Smith (919) Developed and implemented overall recruitment and admissions plan for the University which included administrative, budgetary and operational responsibilities for both departments. Fostered and implemented a cooperative liaison between public schools, community colleges and various community based organizations nationwide, for the purpose of student recruitment. Performed public speaking to various groups, conducted campus tours, attended college fairs and served on President's Council and various committees within the University. Also, served as Special Assistant to the President for special projects. ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF RECRUITMENT 11/75-4/78 Ms. Terry Lemon (919) Recruitment activities encompassed high school visitation, follow-up, and community out-reach. Developed and implemented the annual recruitment plan.
