Every six months the development community will hold a design summit to gather requirements and write specifications for upcoming release. The summits, which are open to the public, will include users, developers, and upstream projects. 21 Design summit Design Sessions not a classic track with speakers and presentations. Developers submit session ideas to discuss upcoming features for the next release cycle, which get reviewed and scheduled by the topic leads. Those sessions can include the presentation of a few slides but are generally a 40-min long, open brainstorming discussion on a given subject or feature.
