MHA would like to thank the following members for standing for positions on the Executive Committee in the recent election. They are: Anita Chatman, Vicki Koroblin and Suzanne Schefke. MHA also wishes to extend a special thank you to all those who made our biennial luncheon such a success. In particular, we wish to recognize Walter Gold, a 57 year veteran of the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rescue Squad as well as Robert Rinaudot, Facilities Manager, for the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rescue Squad, Chief Edward (Ned) Sherburne, Fire/Rescue, and Brooke Davies, Squad Board President.

3 3 Photographs from MHA s Biennial Luncheon held at the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rescue Squad Community Hall Following the luncheon, MHA guests were invited on a tour of the Bethesda- Chevy Chase Rescue Squad led by Executive Committee member and a long-time EMT with the Squad, Walter Gold. The B-CC Rescue Squad is the largest operation of its kind in the country with over 200 active staff all volunteers. The squad is funded entirely by private conributions. It receives no financial support from either the County or the State. The B-CC operates eight full equipped rescue vehicles and is a proving ground for the latest lifesaving technologies.
